I apologize for the delay in responding and appreciate the follow through that allowedus to identify the error in the email address the Revdex.com had on our record that delayed ournotification of the complaintOregonians Credit Union mailed Mr [redacted] a "Notice in Change of Terms" onMarch 1st of along with approximately 12,checking account holdersI’veattached a copy of the notice as well as the fee schedule that was included inthe mailing and an account history for Mr [redacted] to document the accountclosure as he requested.The Notice of change as well as the fee schedule both documents the change to hisaccount more than days prior to the $charge being accessed.While we can appreciate that Mr [redacted] was frustrated by the introduction of a feeon his account, we feel his complaint is without merit as he receivedappropriate notification of the changeIn addition, he has a number of ways to avoid the fee to includemaintaining of a $balance in the account or by having any one of a numberof different types of relationships with Oregonians which would have resultedin the fee being waived Mr [redacted] didnot wish to explore any of those options when he contacted us.We hope this will satisfactorily resolve this issue and allow us to maintain our positiveRevdex.com rating If thatis not the case or you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate tocontact us.Thanksfor your effort in helping us resolve this issue ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

The member closed her account on March 13th without requesting a refund of any kind or registering a complaint regarding the dormant fees charge as best we can tell.Dormant accounts are one of the biggest fraud risks a financial institutions have. Our dormant account fee is an attempt to keep
accounts active and monitored by the owners so the risk is controlled . It is also an industry standard. In this case the member received a series of statements over the course of nearly months that included the $monthly fee. In addition the fee is disclosed in our membership agreement. Finally, the member requested a $reimbursement when only $was charged against the account.We can appreciate that the member was not happy with the fee but it does appear to have assisted in our goal to control the risk associated with dormant accounts with her decision to close the membershipWe will mail a check for $of the $charge as a courtesy refund. I’veattached a copy of the notice as well as the fee schedule that was included inthe mailing and an account history for Mr. [redacted] to document the accountclosure as he requested.The Notice of change as well as the fee schedule both documents the change to hisaccount more than 60 days prior to the $3.00 charge being accessed.While we can appreciate that Mr. [redacted] was frustrated by the introduction of a feeon his account, we feel his complaint is without merit as he receivedappropriate notification of the change. In addition, he has a number of ways to avoid the fee to includemaintaining of a $100 balance in the account or by having any one of a numberof different types of relationships with Oregonians which would have resultedin the fee being waived.  Mr. [redacted] didnot wish to explore any of those options when he contacted us.We hope this will satisfactorily resolve this issue and allow us to maintain our positiveRevdex.com rating.  If thatis not the case or you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate tocontact us.Thanksfor your effort in helping us resolve this issue.
