Received a [redacted] Life Mag as a gift but the birth year was wrong. Contacted company & said they would exchange it for correct year which is [redacted]. Emailed company on 5-2-14 asking if an exchange was possible. Received email from [redacted] stating to return the [redacted] copy to the NC address. Magazine returned via [redacted] on May 7th. Tried calling and emailing with no response until August 22nd, [redacted] responded to my email saying he did not know what the hold up was. Then he responded to an email I sent to their general inquiry address saying "do you have an order number?" I reminded him via email (sent copy of previous emails) that the magazine was a gift but I did give him the name and address of the purchaser. To this day, they received their product back without crediting the purchaser (and obviously did not exchange the magazine as promised. When you call their number, it only allows you to leave a voice message. There has been no further response to my emails from them. Had they just told me in the beginning that the product could not be exchanged, I would've held onto it and tried to find someone else whose birth year was [redacted] and given it to them as a gift. Basically, our friend just gave them a donation for a magazine never received. At least they could refund the money to my friend since nobody in this case received anything.Desired SettlementWould appreciate the [redacted] copy as promised especially since they asked for the [redacted] back in order to receive the [redacted] copy. If it is not available, then please refund the purchaser. Never received the item I ordered. Unable to contact company to get resolve - they will not return emails or phone calls. They have stolen my money.I ordered a Time Life vintage magazine (order #XXXXXX) on March 8, 2014 - order totaling $38.95.Today is March 21, 2014, and I have not received the magazine although according to Original Life Magazine I should have received it within 2-3 business days. Desired SettlementI would prefer to receive the magazine, but if that is not possible I would like a refund. Thank you.Business Response Customer ([redacted]) was aware of first shipment being lost by carrier. Talked with customer by phone last Friday (Mar.21). Told her that because of her newly learned delivery requirement of the next day (Saturday), we would ship a replacement order to her via [redacted] Saturday delivery. Customer received order the next day as promised. Called customer Saturday afternoon to confirm delivery. Got answering machine. Left message. Did not hear back from customer.It should be noted that the cost of the next day Saturday delivery was more than the value of the entire order. We were happy to do it in order to help the customer.

Ordered an old Life magazine from them on 3/2/2016. I never received it and they have refused to refund $59.44 On 3/2/16 I ordered Life Magazine from January 1999. Immediately after entering payment info, their site indicated they did not have that edition. I assumed they would credit my acct. I went on [redacted] and found the magazine I was looking for (since I had been told I would not be getting it from this site). A few minutes later Orig Life Mag emailed that it was being sent. I contacted them on 3/5 and explained that I had ordered it from [redacted] as their site indicated they didn't have it. I got an email from "[redacted]" who thanked me for my order and said it had been shipped. I sent another email again explaining why I shouldn't be charged. Then I was not getting any response. I kept contacting them and on April 4th I pointed out to them that I had never received the magazine and their site (then and now) shows it was never shipped. I asked if they were actually just going to ignore my emails. "[redacted]" responded, "we certainly are not ignoring you. We are..,...". That was his email.Desired SettlementAll I want is my money back. I don't know if anything further can be done but I believe this company acted in bad faith from the beginning. They had no intention, from the beginning, of giving me the merchandise and certainly did not give me my money back. And then, AFTER I contacted them, the person that I was in contact with was condescending and insulting. Business Response "Immediately after entering payment info, their site indicated they did not have that edition." That was because this was our only issue, so our inventory level went to zero when sold. Apparently [redacted] changed her mind right after placing an order on our site and finding a lower price version on eBay. We understand. We want [redacted] to be happy and will resolve this in the manner of her choice.Consumer Response I just want my money refunded by the company in its entirety.Final Business Response Per [redacted]'s stated desired resolution, and in order to protect our company's very good Revdex.com rating, we will issue a refund.
