Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Exactly, rude and snideCant even apologize properly to a customer that received damaged property from themThis business has fraudulent claims of "superior customer service" and even claim to have an A- rating from the Revdex.com when I see a "D" rating on this sightBunch of sneaky, fraudulent liars AND you must have miss heard me, or I miss spoke to youI DID quickly look at the bike when delivered and I missed the CONCEALED damagesI was not informed, by you, that I had to be 100% efficient, AS A BUYER, to discovering any and all problems in 5-minutes, before signing for itMost businesses, in this county, don't require such actions to be the sole responsibility of the BUYERSand nor do they try to completely remove themselves from any responsibilities of the brand new product once it's paid forEspecially when shipping the product after they have already paid for it] is a factorAND most, honor their business transactions with understanding and solutions to resolve issuesThis "business" has no honor, or care for anyone(clearly evident in their 50%/100%, bad reviews I have seenThe ones they are unable to block or delete)Where you there? So you're going to speak for me when you were not even there to witness this? To Whom it may concern,
We would like to address the complaint made against us
#1) The refund of $on his change of product was given to him
in a store creditHe financed the bikes thru *** so we have no way to
refund him other than a store creditIf he would log into his account, he
can
see the credit
#2) On the $he wants us to pay to service the bikes,
that is simply not going to happen
When *** *** called he explained that he had filled the bikes with a gas/oil
mixtureWe have no idea what gas or oil he used or if he mixed it properly
This is most likely the reason it did not run correctlyWe have sold hundreds
of the same models and never once had this problem unless the customer used the
incorrect gas or mixture ratio
Also we do not cover labor in our warrantyIt is only a parts warrantyHe not
only knew this, as it’s a requirement to read it when you purchase from us, but
he also signed off on it, agreeing to the term and conditionsSo for him to
ask us to pay for labor that to fix a problem that he potentially caused, is
not only un-reasonable but it is un-fair
We are very sorry for the problems that *** *** hadWe did our very best to
help him and accommodate him but we are limited on the support we can offer over
the phone

Yes he did buy an SSR pit bike from us but what he did not mention is that is was MONTHS AGOSo he has ridden the bike for at least months before these problems happenedHe claims it was form the beginning but we have had NO contact with *** *** since his initial purchase other than
9/26/16, when he filed the warranty claim.On the warranty, We asked that he send in pictures of the broken parts and after looking at the rear wheel and the exhaust, it was conclusive that the damage was caused by rider abuseAs you can see by the pictures of the wheel, 10-metal spokes are literally sheared in halfThe metal muffler snapped at the exact same position above the rear wheel where the spokes are sheared in halfYou can also see a piece of metal hanging from the exhaust that confirms a downward, heavy, violent forceThere is no possible way this could have been caused from anything else than jumping the bikeWe are using years of pit bike experience, the thousands of bikes we have sold and 100s of bikes we have raced to try to make some sort of rhyme or reason out of his warranty claimThere is simply no precedenceMeaning, metal spokes do not just shear in half and exhaust pipes do not shear directly at the same point above the rear tire unless there has been a massive, downward force placed on themIt’s simply not possible. That is why we have denied the claim based upon his pictures.However, we have asked him to return the broken parts for further inspection, in personBy inspecting certain variables of the metal we can get a better idea of exactly what happenedAt this point he has been resistant to sending the parts in and just keeps emailing us about how unsafe the product is. SSR is a major company in the powersports businessThey sell quality products (10,bikes alone per year) and this is the first time we or they have ever heard of this happening without severely jumping or abusing the bikeThere is just no precedence or historyIf this was a rampant problem, SSR is required by to address the situationThis is the first and only case we have ever heard of that spokes, 10-of them, that just shear in half for no reason.*** *** also threatened us thru email to defame and slander us online and on social media if we did not cover his warrantyWe had to ban him from our Facebook page as well for slanderThis Revdex.com claim should be removed from the system as a claim to defame us and SSR Motorsports

The story Mr *** is simply not true and borderline slander and libelWe certainly dont mind customers making complaints and calling issue to our attentions but at least get the facts correct and lets tell the truth about it.Lets start with the "no way to activate the warranty" claimWe ask
that Mr ***a refresh his screen as SSR has just changed (days before he made this claim) the link to register their warrantiesIf he will simply refresh his screen on the warranty registration page, he will see the new linkTo act as if this was purposeful and we are doing something shady is disingenuous.As for his actual claim.......He did call and report to us that the plastic piece on his bike had been damagedSubsequently, shipping damage would have nothing to do with a warranty claim thoughWe fully insure all shipments and would be handled differentlyThe issue was that Mr ***a did not read nor did he follow the instructions that he agreed to follow when he took delivery of his bike.When he called and informed us of the damage, The first thing we asked him was, "did you make a note of the damage when the driver dropped it off?" Of course he said "no" and claimed that he did not know that he was suppose to inspect itWe would question this as he actually signed off and acknowledged that he was suppose to inspect the shipment fully and sign for it if there were any damage(We have attached his original signature, IP trail, etc to prove his acknowledgment)Part of the agreement that he signed off on was that Orion would not be responsible for any damages that are not signed forWe explained to him, that when he does not sign for it as damaged, it removes any chance we have of making a shipping claim on his behalf and replacing the partsWe then informed his that he could still file a claim with the shipping company himself and get the damaged parts replacedHe seemed agitated at this and continued to tell us that we should have made him read what he signed and possibly even called him to explain what he was signing (yes, he actually said this). His claim that the bike is partially dissembled is explained in our terms and conditions.....something else he agreed to but clearly didn't read.His claim that he had no time to inspect the shipment is also falseThe driver cannot leave until he inspects it and signs off on itAll he would have had to do is remove the box and some packing materialThis usually takes about 5-minutes......also explained in our terms and conditions.....which he clearly did not read.His claim that we do not inspect bikes because it was in the factory packaging is also falseHe purchased an SSR dirt bike and some of those models we ship directly from SSRThey have an inspection process and it worksWe ship thousands of bikes from them and never have an issueWhen we do have an issue, most of our customers follow the directions they are given and we resolve their issue quicklyUnfortunately, Mr *** did not read nor follow the directions that he was given.In closing, Mr *** can still get the damaged parts replaced if he would just simply call the shipping company and file his own claimAs stated before, he did not sign for it as damaged when it was delivered so we cannot file that claim for his as we normally wouldWe regret his decisions not to read and follow the instructions that were provided to him (he signed saying he read them) but we cannot be responsible for his actions or lack thereofWe kindly ask that he refrain from anymore public harassment, slander or libel to our company as well

We are so sorry that you got your feelings hurt.The bottom line is, you did not follow the instructions......as a matter of fact, from your own words, you did not even unwrap or take any of the packing material off and even look at the bike second, while the driver was thereYou didn't even give yourself a chance to see any broken pieces, even if you were or were not trainedWe cannot be responsible for something you agreed to do and then neglected to do it.This will be our last response

I am rejecting this response because:The bike has never been used for anything other than my year old riding around our yardThat is a factThe muffler tore down from the weight of it, after the bad metal snappedBoth rims are falling apartThe throttle cable has already been repairedI had to call them for a month before I got an answerWhomever answered the phone told me someone would call me back and it never happened onceThey then told me to go straight to the manufacturer who sent me back to themMy son weighs lbs and should not have too much force unless the product is faultyThey already told me they won't warranty it before they told me they want to look at the partsI don't want to spend more money sending in something, when they won't uphold the year warranty that came with the bike.
