The account was opened on 10/28/201. The account was charge-off[redacted] to collections. We comply with all the laws governing our collection efforts. The account has not been paid andis still in collections. This account is still the responsibility of Mrs. [redacted] and has been on her credit ever since the accountwas opened. At no time did [redacted] ever raise his voice at Mrs. [redacted]. It was Mrs. [redacted] raising her voice and not letting[redacted] speak so [redacted] terminated the call. I [redacted] received a call from Mrs. [redacted] on my voicemail. I called her backon 2/09/2015 at 12:20 pm and left her a message at [redacted] to call me back. I never heard from her. I haverequested all the media that Mrs. [redacted] is requesting and will mail to her once we receive it . The account will still remainin collection and unpaid under Mrs. [redacted]'s name because she is still liable for the debt. Once Mrs. [redacted] receives theinformation she has requested she can contact me directly to further discuss if she likes too.Director of Collections

[I am not satisfied with this response because Mr. [redacted] is not being truthful in his response. He contacted my place of employment initially on 10/6 & left a message on my direct line. When he was unable to reach me, he contacted my direct Supervisor on 10/7 and left personal information with her, to which she responded by coming to my office with his name, number and reference number. When I contacted Mr. [redacted], I presented my name and reference number. He stated that this was an unusually low amount that I owed as he was used to dealing with accounts that were substantially higher; in the thousands. I inquired about the company that he worked for; he told me. I then inquired about the address and he responded by saying that I didn't need to know that information; just that he was located in California. I told him that I was requesting this info because it was against the law for him to contact not only my place of employment, but my Supervisor. He told me that it was not against the law. I said that it was, he said that he was not going to argue with me and abruptly hung up the phone.]

Orions Management Group has not threatened Mrs. [redacted] in any way.  She has a debt that is charged-off and within the statute of limitations. This debt is reporting on her credit report as unpaid under Orions Management Group.  Mrs. [redacted] has not shown any proof showing that this...

account is paid.  It is not Orions fault that Mrs. [redacted] got scammed by another agency.  We treat everyone professionally at all times.  If Mrs. [redacted] wishes to further discuss she can contact me directly at 714-683-[redacted].  She will not be contacted again but the account will remain unpaid and on her credit report as a charged-off delinquent debt.

This is false and incorrect, it was opposite he himself was rude and was not willing to negotiate any option of payment. I will be seeking future legal advise.

Orions has conducted an investigation on the mentioned dispute.  Mr. [redacted] did hang up on Mrs. [redacted] because all she did was argue with Mr.s [redacted].  He simply asked her if she was going to pay her bill she refused and kept arguing so he terminated the call instead of arguing with Mrs. [redacted].  Mr. [redacted] verified employment at no point did he leave any personal information about Mrs. [redacted].  Mrs. [redacted] will not be called again the account has been put in a cease and desist status.  The account will remain a negative and unpaid status.  If Mrs. [redacted] wants to discuss the matter she can feel free to contact me at 714-[redacted].

Mr. [redacted] only verified her employment.  At no time did we call more than once.  It was the first and only time contacting her job to verify her employment.  Mrs. [redacted] called us and argued with us.  We have put a cease and desist on the employment.  The account still...

Review: My wife and I befriended a homeless man in our area. This young man is physically and mentally challenged. He had used our phone number for his contact information and we received a call from Orion's Management Group LLC, specifically [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] had spoke to my wife, divulging information on this individual and demanding he or we pay his outstanding bill at a Chiropractics office. My wife had Mr. [redacted] call me to discuss this matter. Mr. [redacted] called, was deliberant, belittling, and downright rude. I do not owe him or anyone else any moneys and do not appreciate the nature in which Mr. [redacted] corresponded. I would like to file a formal complaint so that other do not have to endure the same experience.

Review: this company is posing as a telephone advertising company, they are a debt collection company, they have called multiple third party persons, and discussed a debt, that has not been verified, threatened me, my wife, and my money, they call over and over and over at all times of the day even on weekends, very rude, I have no knowledge of this alleged debt and have never been given anything in writing to verify that it is indeed mine, this company needs to be stopped, they harrass any phone number associated with their client, they went so far as to call my wifes' mothers farm house and disscussed this debt with the farm hand back in october, then disscussed it with my mother in law and then my wife before it finnally got to me, if something is not done with this company I intend to pursue litigation against themDesired Settlement: I want my phone number and all information about me and my family removed from this companies files, I want their listing removed from my experian credit report since it is unverified, and bogus, and I want them to cease all communications with myself or anyone associated with me

Yes we did speak to his wife which is legal. We do not at any point discuss this with anyone else. That is a false statement. Review: I, have received 2 harassing voice mails and have spoken with 3 people from the Orion's Management Group that have oppressed and harassed with threatening remarks. The voice mails that I received was rude and threatening one man named [redacted] V. Stated if he didn't hear back from me by 4pm that day that he would go further with scheduling someone out to my house and that I would have to retain council. I attempted to contact them but I was not able to resolve anything with this company. They immediately threatened garnishment and told me I will pay what they wanted me to pay no other options. The crazy thing is they threatened garnishment before a validation notice was even sent out crazy. I even called and a man answered I advised him "I wanted to speak to a supervisor." He asked "Who's calling." I said "that is irrelevant. I want to speak with a supervisor." He told me "I did not have the right to speak with a supervisor if I did not tell him who I was." he then hung up. This company is very rude.Desired Settlement: N/A

Review: I am constantly getting phone calls from [redacted] and receiving aggressive messages to call a [redacted] and reference #[redacted]. This gentleman is harassing me on my job and contacting others trying to reach me when I do not know who he is and why he's calling me as I've never heard of this company nor did business with them. I only obtained their name from "googling" the phone number and reading the numerous blogs of complaints.This guy went so far as to speak to a young lady in a Florida office trying to obtain my work address stating he wants to serve me papers on my job. This MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY!!I have a log of the numerous calls from this number, as well as a log of the voicemails. Review: The issue is the release of my (and my ex husband's) private information from a previous marriage to my current husband as well as unethical practice methods. I returned a call to Orion Group and primarily spoke to [redacted] was attempting to collect a debt on a repossessed vehicle in 2009. My ex husband was to be responsible for the payment of the vehicle upon our divorce in 2008 and was suppose to remove my name from the title. [redacted] (yelling) informed me that he had spoken to my current husband trying to negotiate a settlement with him before speaking to me. I tried to explain that [redacted] should not be sharing information with my current husband about my ex husband or myself. He (yelling) stated he did have the right because I was married to my new husband. He yelled that it was also up to me if I want to hide things from my husband. I attempted to ask questions about the bill, the original contract and an itemized list of the fees. [redacted] continued to cut me off yelling at me that he would file by the end of the day, but by the time he was at the end of the phone call he yelled that he was filing right now. I continued to try to talk to [redacted] but he continued to cut me off yelling stating I need to pay the debt. He hung up on me. I did call back and asked [redacted] to speak to his supervisor. He said he is the supervisor and would not give me the name of his supervisor. I asked for the name of the company and he provided it as Orion Group. I hung up. I called the complaint department and left a message. I have not heard back yet. [redacted] shared information without my permission or the permission of my ex deceased husband to my current husband. He also was belligerent via yelling, snarky comments, and threats to settle or he would file.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to provide their collections staff a training on federal privacy laws, reprimand and retraining for [redacted], and a copy of the original loan as well as an itemized list of fees. It would also be helpful to have a list of actions against this loan such as the repossession, [redacted] of the vehicle and legal actions taken.

Review: This organization contacted my regarding one of my employees. He contacted me under FALSE pretenses, claiming he had some documents he needed to help my employee deliver. When I sought more information, as he was being intentionally vague about the nature of the call, the gentleman became verbally hostile and eventually hung up on me. Later investigations in to the company revealed that they are a debt collection agency. Not once was I told this. I do not wish to be contacted regarding this matter any more, or any matter. I felt harassed and was lied to about the purpose of the call.Desired Settlement: Do not contact this place of business anymore - me or my employee while at work. We are WORKING.

Orions Management Group does verify employment and anything if we ever need to send any type of documents regarding the employee. We will not contact the employee or employer any longer. I need to know who the employee was that we were verify the job on in order to stop any and all calls. We are not allowed to disclose any information other than the consumer because it would be a 3rd party disclosure per law. That was the reason we have to be vague. We conduct our office professional and by the law that governs us. Please provide the number we called or the consumers name so we can stop all calls immediately. Thanks

Review: A man by the name of [redacted], called my place of employment on more than one occasion and even conferred with my supervisor regarding a debt. When I brought it to his attention that this was against the law, he became argumentative and hung up the phone.
