Orlando Smiles

Six months prior to seeing this dentist, I had a cleaning at another dentist and was told my teeth were fine. I've had some fillings before, but no major problems found.

So I went to Orlando Smiles and this dentist tells me that I have eight cavities. Eight! I take great care of my teeth. You don't just develop eight cavities out of nowhere. It makes no sense. I did not believe it. So she took a picture of my teeth with her phone and showed me my tooth turning gray. I was still not convinced. She then showed me a plan that would cost over $1,000 to fix my teeth and recommended I have a crown put in! The whole thing just seemed outrageous. I didn't even want my teeth cleaned after that, but she had already examined me, so I went through with it.

So she tells me she'll be right back. I'm sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for her to come back. Nothing. So I go back to the front desk to find her, and I see her standing there playing with her hair, talking to the receptionist. I was enraged. She didn't even floss my teeth before the cleaning! She just lightly scraped them for five minutes. That was the cleaning. Shortly after, I got an examination from another dentist, and he said that I had NO cavities. Just one of my teeth starting to discolor from an old filling, and that they were strong.

This was the worst experience I've had at a dentist.
I feel like I had my time and my money wasted. I am so upset over it. I do NOT recommend Orlando Smiles to anyone. This place is a rip off.
