Review: On March 6 I purchased $15.09 unleaded gas at this gas station. My brand new vehicle with less than 5K miles on it began shaking and the check engine light came on. On Friday, entered vehicle and same thing happened the vehicle began shaking and the check engine light came on. I called the dealer and explained and they told me to bring the vehicle in to see. I brought vehicle to Banner Chevrolet on 3/7/14 and they ran a diagnostic on the SUV and reported back to me on 3/10/14 and said it was contaminated gas - containing water and particles. I contacted Shell Customer Care who I thought owned the station and they reported to me today that they do not own. I reported this to my insurance company and the dealer has a large sample of the the gas that was drawn from the vehicle. I have not contacted the station yet because I was going to let the insurance company and shell go through their procedures. Even though this station has a shell sign and a Shell canopy is at the gas station, Shell says they do not own. The car dealership said that it would cost over one thousand dollars to repair the vehicle. I do not feel that I should be responsible for these charges. I want the gas station contacted and informed because this could have happened to someone else. I plan to visit the gas station today to try to determine exactly who owns it so that I can provide this information to my insurance company. The vehicle is a 2013 Equinox SUV Champagne in color and has less than 5,000 miles on in purchased in October 2013.Desired Settlement: I want my vehicle restored back to its original condition. Not sure if the vehicle will properly work even after the repairs have been made. I want the station notified and informed of the defective gas that it is giving to its customers.
