Review: My son had an MRI performed by Orlin and Cohen in January . My son is covered by my insurance Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Blue Cross initially sent me an EOB saying they were not going to pay this claim. I sent Orlin and Cohen a personal check which was cashed on March **. Subsequently Blue Cross realized that this was an error and they should have paid the claim and they also sent a check to Orlin and Cohen which was cashed. So now I have paid for their services and so has my insurance company. Blue Cross spoke with Orlin and Cohen and they said it would take 6-8 weeks for my refund. This was initiated on April *. I had patiently waited the 6-8 weeks for this refund and when I did not receive it I called Orlin and Cohen. and was told I there was nothing I could do but wait until the check was cut. It is now August [redacted] and still I have not received a refund. On July [redacted] when still no refund was forthcoming I was told that they had lost my original refund information and they would send me a check ASAP. I called again today and I was told they will call me as soon as they get the check from their accounting office. I am really not sure why this has taken so long. I in good faith sent them a check because my insurance company indicated they would not be paying the claim. Everyone I have spoken to has been very polite assuring me I will be getting a refund however it has been over 4 months since the process was initiated.Desired Settlement: I want the company to send me a check immediately.

I had seen Dr Jonathan Ticker and his staff some months ago and had a positive experience. His staff was professional. I did not wait long to see him either. I had seen him for shoulder pain that I had for months, he was understanding, caring and listened well. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.

Review: In June of 2013 I won a case with Workers Compensation. I had been going to Orlin & Cohen for treatment of this injury prior to winning the case and was paying them monthly out of my pocket until the case was settled. Once the case was settled I was told by Orlin & Cohen's billing department that in order for me to be reimbursed for the money I paid out of pocket, they had to re-submit all the bills to Workers Comp. They said it could take a few months, I called back every 2 months or so until June of 2014, one year later, I decided to take matters into my own hands and called Workers Comp myself. With many phone calls and letters to Workers Comp I was finally able to get the bills for Orlin & Cohen paid. I then called Orlin and Cohen to confirm they received the payment from Workers Comp and was told by them that paperwork was filed for me to receive a refund of $426.00 this was in Aug of 2014. I called several times in September and was told a check was still not cut. I was then given a phone number for a [redacted] and was told I would receive my refund in 45 to 60 days. 60 days have come and gone and still no check. Orlin and Cohen's billing dept harassed me for payments and when I ask for my money it takes over a year and I have been lied to and ignored long enough.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded immediately.

My review is for my [redacted] ,[redacted] was an absolute professional ,from my first visit to my last follow up.I was very cautious about having surgery done on my shoulder and went to a couple of other surgeons before choosing [redacted] ,he displayed the up most confidence and never pressured me to have the surgery ,he said you will know when you are ready.After months of living in pain I had the operation and could not be happier,four months after the surgery I am golfing, kickboxing and completely painless .By the way I had a birdie my fist time out.Icant thank him and his staff enough. regards [redacted]

I went to Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Associates LLP when I strained my MCL. In that visit I was given a knee brace for my injury. Upon checkout I asked the woman who was assisting me how much the knee brace would cost and she stated "If your insurance doesn't cover it in full your cost would be around $50 out of pocket." A few weeks later I received a bill for the knee brace over 5 times the amount that I was quoted. After having several conversations with them they refuse to stand by what their employee has quoted me and even went a step further to say that their employee would have never said that, essentially calling me a liar. I find it very unprofessional that they don't stand by their employees incorrect statement and don't reduce the price that was stated to me or at very least negotiate a price closer to what was stated.
