We met with Mr& Mrs*** on April 5, We have spoken to them numerous times and they have never
shared a complaint with usThey never sent a letter to cancel and they never tried to dispute the charges with their credit card companyI called Florida *** ***, *** and The *** Group and not one of these companies has heard anything negative from Mr& Mrs***So to be clear, *** Bank, *** Vacation Villas, *** The *** Group and *** combined, have no records of any complaints from the *** familySo we were surprised to receive this Revdex.com complaint when we have never been given an opportunity to address any of their concerns
First, Mr& Mrs*** traded in their *** *** to the Florida *** *** Club (FVVC)Their *** *** is a deeded property that has annual maintenance fees that they are required to pay annually whether they use it or not and because it is deeded, it is tied to their estateWe gave them an opportunity to trade out of it and into the FVVC which is a membership and has no annual maintenance fees and is not tied to their estate
In the complaint, Mr*** says, "As we no longer travel as much due to age and health." That statement is exactly why this option made perfect senseHe also goes onto say that he "could retain his *** membership in a different form." That is 100% factHe did retain his *** membership as he wanted
Second, there is some information presented by this complaint that are not factual
*** *** does NOT have a First Right of RefusalThat is
false
We wouldn't need lawyers to get around a First Right of Refusal
Not to mention that there is no getting around thisMost
resorts that have a First Right of Refusal never exercise it, but if
they do, that is a good thing for the ownerIt doesn't hurt us in
the transaction, it only saves the owner moneyThe resorts
charge a Transfer Fee to transfer it out of their names, but you
have to have someone to transfer it toIf they accepted the First
Right of Refusal, it would have saved Mr*** money that
VCS does not make
We never claim that we are going to sell their timeshare for
themThere is not one document that states thatIn fact he
signed documents stating that he would be responsible for the
maintenance fees for the next days and after that, we
assume responsibility for the maintenance fees if it takes longer
than that to transfer out of his name along with an Estoppel form
letting us call his resort to verify that he did own what he thought
he ownedMany owners are misinformed about their
ownershipsThey signed all of these documents
Thirdly, Mr*** claims that he did not know he were "initiating a charge to purchase." He claims that when he received the credit card bill, he was completely surprisedWe have a signed credit application, a signed attestation where Mrand Mrs*** initial that they are receiving a credit card and that we are putting the purchase on itIt breaks down that they have 0% for months and then it goes to 14.9%They initialed and signed these pagesThey also signed a credit card receipt, which I can provide, dated April 5, The received a copy of everything they signed that eveningThere was no surpriseIt is illegal for us to charge a credit card without their authorization*** has a policy that If a client uses a credit card and does not sign the credit card receipt, then that contract is on HOLD until the client signs
Now, if Mrand Mrs*** are having regrets about their purchase, I understand, but FVVC has already given them their membership*** has already given them their membershipThe Transfer Group has already started working on their transfers and *** has already given them their 0% loanEverything has been done by our company as promisedBeing that no one has any records of Mror Mrs*** calling from any company they signed up with and the fact that I have contracts signed by Mrand Mrs*** where I have over signatures and over initials that would completely contradict what they are saying in this complaint
We are going into our 3rd year and we have done over contractsWe have had cancellations and never had a complaint about not returning someone's moneyIf Mr*** had let us know his concerns before every company he agreed to sign up with provided the services he paid for, we would have gladly cancelled the contract and returned his moneyWe are going to make mistakes, but this is not one of themCustomer service is our number one priority
As of today, I have reached out to Mrand Mrs***They did not answer, but I left a voicemail with my work number and my personal cell phone number in hopes of turning them into a happy customerI have not heard back as of yet, but I will keep trying
Sincerely,
*** J***

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 15, 2016/06/23) */
As I explained to Mr*** when he called us on 6/2, we would be in New England to attend a wedding and graduationDuring the time we were out of the area was the time he chose to answer the complaintThe information you have supplied us as to his answer to our questions regarding the matter was found in my spam mail
Our absence from the area and answer being in spam was reason we were unable to answer in a timely mannerThe matter is still not resolved
In his answer, Mr*** states they have spoken to us numerous timesIn fact, we have only spoken with Mr.*** one time when he called just before we left for our New England tripHe also states we never sent a letter to cancel and never disputed the charges with credit card companyIn fact, we sent "certified" letters to Vacation Consulting, the credit card company and The Office of the Arizona Attorney General and we have copies of the letters and Certifications
We tried calling Vacation Consulting and whoever answered passed the call to *** *** who would not listen to our requestShe stated she would have "***" call us but we never received a call from him
What this company has done is try to take our timeshare which costs us approximately $a year and replaced it with one that has no maintenance fees but would cost us $12,128.00.that we would have to pay for points to travel, etcWe could pay maintenance fees for over years to break even on such a contractIn any case, we would be dead before this occurred
We would request this complaint remain open until a resolution is worked out between Vacation Consulting and usThank you for your consideration
*** and *** ***

I learned that VCS requested a check in the amount of $from *** *** *** which is the financial arm of VCS. My understanding was that it would go to VCS to pay off my timeshare. When I contacted *** *** ***, the timeshare had NOT been paid off. I contacted *** *** *** asking them to transfer the loan to my credit union (***), they did that and sent them a copy of the check for $4100. So now I have TWO loans out for $(My contact at *** *** *** is *** ***: *** ext***.)

Initial Business Response /* (***0, 9, 2016/09/23) */
Ms*** did not purchase another timeshareTimeshare is deeded property that you are stuck withThis contract is a membership that she can walk away from whenever she would like as is stated in the contractThe information about the
laws in Florida changing are absolutely true and we shared that with our entire audience
We were not buying her out of her timeshare, nor was that ever saidIronically, we were using our law firm that represents our timeshare owners that have been misled, *** ***She signed contracts with *** *** to get her out of her mortgage in which she owes a lot of moneyThe money she paid for this, pays for the membership and lawyer fees
After she missed the phone call from *** ***, she called our officeI spoke to her and explained everything againWhen we ended the phone conversation, she said she understood and that she was happy to move forward with thisIn her complaint, she admits that *** *** has contacted her and spoken to her, but she won't give them any informationShe also admits that the fraudulent department denied her claim because "as far as they were concerned the charges weren't fraudulent." We spoke to *** and not only did they deny her "fraudulent" claim, they did not tell her that she was scammedIf they believed that it was fraudulent, then they would have cancelled the contract
We have spoken to this client numerous times and we are trying to do everything we can to make her happy, but we have already provided our services and have prepared to cancel her mortgage on her timeshareHer biggest complaint is that she wants out of her timeshare and doesn't want two of themThat is exactly what we are doingIn fact, she owes more on her timeshare than what she paid for this serviceThis actually saves her money
I will try to call her againThe last time we spoke, she said that she was happy
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/10/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Mr*** is quite mistaken with his assessment of my being "happy" with this situationIf I was "happy", I wouldn't have filed a complaintI was encouraged that he would speak with *** to credit my account and get back with meHe did neitherIn addition, he will not accept my phone calls or respond to my voice messagesThis is not buyer's remorse, I still want to be free of all vacation timeshares and memberships because of their divisivenessI was told that they could buy my timeshare and get me points (no maintenance fees) to use for travel and only a $*** annual membership fee that they would waive for the first yearInstead, I end up with two timesharesMr*** alludes to this being a membership contract, if this is true then what is the problem reimbursing me my money? If this is not a timeshare, as Mr*** has stated, then why can't I have my money back?
I did miss my initial call with *** *** and I called back to rescheduleWhen I did talk with them a month later on August 18, 2016, I voiced my grievance and would not affirm proceeding, the representative (*** ***) immediately contacted VCSMr*** contacted me on August 19, and identified himself as the President/Owner of VCS and that began our first and only conversationLooking back over my notes, I'm convinced that this is a scam bordering on violation of real estate infringement laws and/or conflict of interest since Mr*** owns both VCS and *** ***
Why would I lie about the conversation with *** when all of their phone calls are recorded for quality assurance? ***'s statement to me can be corroborated easily by asking them to provide a copy of the recorded phone callAs stated in my original complaint,
"I expressed to him that that didn't relieve me of my fears and that I wanted him to cancel the transaction between us and remove the *** chargesHe said that he would check in to the processI responded to him with what *** had told me and that he, the merchant, could remove the chargesHe responded by asking me to give him a few days, since it was late Friday, August 19, I thanked him and agreed to him calling back on Monday or Tuesday of the following week*** informed me that the merchant, VCS, could remove the chargesThe call ended and I was hopeful that Mr*** would be a man of his word in removing the charges, but Mr*** never called back."
*** stated that the charges weren't fraudulent because they had a signatureMy contention is that the signature was coerced under pretenses and that I didn't receive the services contractedI have more than sixteen years of education and I was fooled
Thank you for taking the time to hear my side of this terrible situationVCS's unethical business practices need to be stopped

Vacation Consulting Services (VCS) recognizes the frustrations that Mrs*** experienced regarding one of the vendees that our company works withDue to this, VCS has contacted Mrs*** and provided an alternative solutionVCS feels confident that we have placed Mrs*** with an
attorney who can move her case forward in a timely mannerVCS will continue to work on Mrs***'s behalf and feels that her current complaint has been resolvedThank you!

After speaking with Ms***, her issue is not with us, but who we put her in contact with in Castle Law They gave her our phone number and it was either misquoted or written down incorrectlyMs*** just wanted information to know if her contract with Castle Law was completed and I
completely understand and agree I have set up a conference call with Castle Law next Wednesday and will call Ms*** by Thursday I gave her our office our number and my personal cell phone number She was very understanding, but just concerned that she hadn't heard from Castle We will get her an answer and make sure her contract was completed or we will be giving her money back Ms*** was happy with this answer and said that if we do that, then she has no complaints

Vacation Consulting Services apologizes for the miscommunication that the *** have experiencedUnfortunately, we had listed their email address incorrectly when providing the information to Clapp LawThis is our error and we regret the
trickle affect it has causedVCS would like to assure the *** that both VCS and Clapp Law are working on their behalf! This can be a timely process, but all of our clients are important to us and deserve the proper updates as they have requested
We would like to emphasize that we do not represent RCI, but rather work with Florida Vacation Villas Club who are part of the RCI programOur clients receive a client identification # with FVVC, along with a phone # to RCI, which is exclusive for FVVC clientsALL of this is information is provided on the contracts the clients receive
In regards to the gifting, our records indicate it was mailed out on May and signed for on May @ 10:16amWe recognize the inconvenience we have caused for Mrand Mrs***, but look forward to turning this around by working hard on their behalf

We were told during the presentation, that the cost of travel and the presentation were paid for by RCI and by Clapp LawThis still seems to be a misrepresentation of the facts, we still have not received any direct communication regarding the progress of our case from VCS although we now are in contact with Clapp Law
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2017/05/24) */
I regret that Mr*** does not accept our response especially since they admit to having communication with Clapp LawSince their file is currently being worked by Clapp Law, that is who should be updating themI do agree that VCS should also be in communication, but according to our phone records, we have called on three occasions and left messages twice
We strive for strong customer service, and again, regret that the *** are not satisfiedThis process can be lengthy and does require follow-up, so I would like to assure the *** that both VCS and Clapp Law will continue to work hard on their behalf

Mrand Mrs*** signed on with us on September 29thOn their behalf, we contacted their resort and
negotiated for the resort to take back their deedNow that the resort has agreed after we set everything in motion, Mrand Mrs*** want to cancel the contractThere is a day cancellation policyWe have a copy of their certified letter mailed on October 18th, which is well after the daysWe have paperwork signed by this client acknowledging our cancellation policy and they initialed on over lines breaking down our promise to them and the agreement
Furthermore, we spoke to them the very next day, September 30th and October 3rd explaining the process and what we were going to doThey never gave us any indication they wanted to cancel until we received this complaint
We do not feel it is fair that we facilitated exactly what we told them we would do and now they are going to benefit from our work, but do not wish to make their payments
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2016/10/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The resort has never been contacted by anyone, they were emphatic that this was a scam and all we had to do was have our maintenance dues paid and they would be willing to take back the property, we would just be out of the money that we had paid, but under no circumstances were we to be involved with this company, they have never heard of them and said it was a scam that we would pay them money and never hear from them again, and to definitely not give them our deedThere is no way this is truthful information you do not have to pay anyone to get out of their timeshareDid not negotiate anything it is all a SCAM

I spoke with the owner and he agreed to cancel my contract, after I provided him with papers from my resort stating the amount it would cost me to get out of my timeshare
And I was to let the Revdex.com know the results of our agreementThank you for your involvement

Ms. [redacted] first signed contracts with us on July 23, 2015 for us to liquidate her out of her Palm Beach Shores Resort in Palm Beach, FL. We spoke to her on July 26th, within her cancellation time period to make sure she was still wanting to go...

through with the transaction and she was very happy. We then started the process.
On September 2, 2015, we received an email from Ms. [redacted] saying that she spoke to the resort on the phone and spoke to an individual who said they would take her out of the deed for a much smaller amount and she wanted to cancel. We had already been dealing with her resort and did not recognize the name Ms. [redacted] gave us. We called Ms. [redacted] on September 3, September 4, and September 7th and left messages, but she never returned our calls.
On 10/19/2015, Ms. [redacted] called us and told us again that the resort would do it for less. She said that it wasn't fair to have to pay us more. We felt like someone was giving her mis-information. I asked her if we could call the resort and confirm this less expensive opportunity. She said we could. We called the resort and there was no one by that name that worked for her resort. We called Ms. [redacted] back and told her and she said she understood and we could move forward.
We were surprised to get a complaint from Ms. [redacted], especially 6 months after the fact. Once we received the complaint, we called Ms. [redacted]. She had a personal issue come up that required some money and she was trying to cancel to get her money back. I'm not going to go into the details because it is personal for Ms. [redacted], however, we have worked it out with Ms. [redacted] and she has agreed to finish up the liquidation with us. She called the Revdex.com to try and retract her complaint, but it is their policy to come to a resolution versus cancelling the complaint. Ms. [redacted] is still a client of ours and we are still working for her. We are glad that she was able to be open and honest with us so we can understand her needs and we are happy to help her in any way we can.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2017/07/05) */
As the Director of Operations with VCS I have tried reaching out to this client on several occasions. I have called multiple times, but was unable to leave a voicemail. I also emailed the client on 06/28/2017 the following:
"My name is [redacted]...

[redacted] and I am the Director of Operations with Vacation Consulting Services. I have looked into your case after receiving a response from the Revdex.com. I apologize that I had not been notified sooner that you were experiencing frustrations. I have tried calling you a few times to discuss this, but have not been successful in reaching you. Please call me at your earliest convenience so that I can hear your side of the story and have a better understanding of how to help you. I have some notes in our system based on a phone log, but I would like to have a direct conversation with you. My goal is for you to have 100% customer satisfaction and confidence in our program moving forward. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you!"
VCS has been working on Mr. [redacted]'s behalf and feels confident that we will resolve this matter. Mr. [redacted]'s case is being worked by the attorney and should be completed as promised.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2017/04/19) */
I appreciate hearing about our marketing company in regards to the tablets, since it identifies a problem. I regret however, that it was at Mr. [redacted]'s expense. Based on the logistics of travel, we typically DO NOT travel with the tablets. We...

have a very organized system in place that immediately notifies the client's of a tracking # within a few days of the presentation. In Mr. [redacted]'s case, he not only received misinformation as to when he would receive the tablet, but also experienced the rare situation that our manufacturer was behind on their end. VCS appreciates our guest and their time and truly regrets Mr. [redacted]'s negative experience.
In regards to our consulting services, we certainly understand that we may not be the right fit for everyone. We are happy to educate and provide service to thousands of families who have been able to benefit from our services. With regards to the Ovation program, VCS can only say that it is a program that has several variables, and does not apply to all Wyndham owners. The owners must qualify for that option, and in most cases are not offered a true exit strategy.
We strive for high customer satisfaction and hope that Mr. [redacted] receives his tablet within the next day or two, since it has been mailed out and the tracking # was emailed to him.
Thank you!

Vacation Consulting Services appreciates hearing from our clients and our guest. We feel that Mr. [redacted] may have had a misunderstanding of our services and our cancellation policy due to both his statement and actions. VCS does provide services to help timeshare owners get out of their ownership;...

however, we try to do it in an informative seminar. We understand that this may not be the best solution for all owners, so if a client decides to cancel, they can do so within the timeframe discussed per our contracts. Mr. [redacted] DID cancel his agreement and VCS immediately reversed his credit card transaction. Mr. [redacted]'s statement of our business being a scam is total slander, since we have been honest, forthcoming and honored our contract. I have provided the receipt reversing the charges to the Revdex.com. Thank you.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2017/03/17) */
Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] attended our presentation, accepted our gift, received their meal, and agreed to our proposal by their own will. Our services are presented and then offered, but cannot be forced upon people. According to our phone log, the...

[redacted] have never reached out to us regarding their concerns. We regret this since we would have appreciated the opportunity to provide more personal customer service to Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]. Vacation Consulting Services provides a copy of the signed contract to all buyers which clearly states the rescission process. VCS stands by its business partners and our ability to relieve timeshare owners of their maintenance fees and/or mortgage associated with their deeded property. VCS has educated and provided service to thousands of satisfied customers. With any product or service it is up to the client to make the decision to purchase or not. The [redacted] made their decision to do business with VCS and we look forward to liquidating their deeded property as requested by them. Thank you!
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2017/03/22) */
The VCS response said we never tried to contact them when in fact I spoke to several of their representatives between Feb. 20th to the 22nd and they never responded, after they promised to call. I also sent a message to [redacted] and an email to [redacted] about my concerns and intentions. They responded to the Revdex.com complaint but not to me.
This company tried to fraudulently claim that the transfer of this timeshare was like it was sold to me,as if it were real estate. They ascribed an exorbitant value to the property as if it had a real net worth and then subtracted our original purchase price, conning us to believe that we owed the balance in order to square things with RIC. I can send the Revdex.com hard copies if needed just let me know what address to mail them to. You will clearly see the overinflated price they are requiring us to pay.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 16, 2017/03/31) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
VCS has mentioned that they are justified charging more than [redacted] minus our original [redacted] purchase price to perform a service the law offices I've researched are charging less than a third of that. I am mot interested in being exploited by VCS and have enlisted the help of [redacted] to liquidate the timeshare. My desire is to sever all ties to VCS. They also claimed that I didn't contact them before this complaint. They also represented themselves as agents of RCI. Another couple of reasons that I want to distance myself from VCS. I look forward to no longer having to deal with VCS in any capacity.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2017/04/13) */
Mr. [redacted] has taken his business elsewhere; however he has signed a contract with VCS. We cannot control Mr. [redacted]'s actions, or that he choses to pay for two services, but we do regret that he will not allow us to complete the service as promised.
It should be noted that Mr. [redacted] was past his cancellation period when he chose to look into other options. VCS would hope that all clients do the necessary research beforehand, so when signing a contract they feel confident in their decision. We are happy to say that we have a very high customer satisfaction rating. This is due to our strong customer service and our ability to liquidate or offer timeshare relief options as promised. As a business we want our clients to be educated and to receive excellent service, but Mr. [redacted] is preventing VCS from doing so with his refusal to work with us.
Should the other opportunity not work out for Mr. [redacted], VCS will gladly accept the necessary paperwork, as requested, in order for us to move forward with this process.
Thank you!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2017/03/28) */
VCS has responded to my lawyer and agreed to cancel the contract and refund my money. I wish to cancel this complaint as a result. Thank you.

Vacation Consulting Services apologizes for the misunderstanding regarding our mailing practices. VCS does not have an in-house marketing company, but rather outsources that task. The mailer does indicate a tablet and dining dollars, but clearly states "Certain restrictions apply, call for details...

of participation. Members, past visitors, and employees are ineligible. Spouses, fiance, partners, or significant others must attend together."   Since our company helps timeshare owners get out of their timeshare, the qualifier, is that you have to own a timeshare; otherwise, we cannot help you. The mention of a deposit  and a Florida Vacation is NOT from Vacation Consulting Services and we are investigating our marketing company due to this claim! VCS regrets the way this was handled by our marketing company; however, the gifts offered on the mailer are for qualifying timeshare owners AND attending an event. VCS will be mailing Mr. [redacted] an apology for any confusion and appreciates his information regarding how this was handled.VCS has provided the mailer to the Revdex.com as evidence of the disclaimer.  Thank you!

Ms. [redacted],As stated multiple times, neither Vacation Consulting Services or [redacted], will payoff back dated maintenance fees. I have attached your contract that states multiple times, the requirement for maintenance fees to be current. These contracts were both signed and initialed by you. I continue to ask the logical question, why would you pay our company to pay off your maintenance fees when you could pay the resort directly?  Our services that you paid for were to liquidate your timeshare. This means you would no longer own the deed or be responsible for future maintenance fees, beyond 180 days. Due to the gross misunderstanding, VCS has agreed to cancel our services. We will no longer be working on your behalf to liquidate your timeshare. VCS notified [redacted] Financial of this on 02/24/2018. You will be paid back your full amount by [redacted] Financial which will allow you to pay off the loan with your credit union. No money will be owed to VCS or [redacted], nor will we have kept any. This is a 100% refund. Thank you.[redacted]Director of OperationsOn Tue, Feb 27, 2018 at 8:24 AM, [redacted] <[redacted]@gmail.com> wrote:February 27, 2018   Good Morning [redacted], [redacted], Financial Account Representative   Since January 4, 2018 to date when I was notified by my Resort that I needed to pay them, I immediately started to call and ask questions about why they had not been paid by Vacation Consultant Services, LLC. I went to the website and read what the Revdex.com had recorded, so I failed a complaint, then I have made over 20+ times between you and Vacation Consultant Services, LLC and I have spoken to Mr. [redacted], the Owner directly and he promised that he was going to take care of this, but he has done nothing and I have been working with [redacted] and she has done nothing.   [redacted] handled the financial for Vacation Consultant Services, LLC., so my account was turned over to my Credit Union, [redacted], to obtain a lower interest rate, but I made this decision because I believed that Vacation Consultant Services, LLC was going to payoff my Maintenance Fees, so my credit union sent you a check in the amount of $4,718.61, the account # [redacted], and you never notified me in writing that you received this check with an explanation of the money you received, you just closed my account as PAID. You just took my money without any proof from Vacation Consultant Services, LLC that my maintenance fees were paid. My Resort [redacted] had NEVER been contacted since I signed this contract July 19, 2017. Ms. [redacted], you requested a letter from them and I sent a copy of the letter that substantiates the truth. Please be advised that when I went to this Seminar it was clear that they would pay off the Maintenance Fees, but common sense would say who would pay you $5000, when my Maintenance Fees was already $4,000, I would have NEVER agreed to that, because I OWN my Resort and have the DEED, so I was only interested in getting my Maintenance Fees paid off and they knew that, and that was the ONLY reason why I signed the contract.   Ms. [redacted], Last week you stated that you would call me on Friday, February 23, 2018 with your Attorney, regarding my situation and as I shared with you from the beginning that according to Revdex.com Vacation Consultant Services, LLC is being investigated not only by them, but also with the Attorney General Office that states this is a Scam organization and that is on their website listed below.   Please be advised that you have received my money based upon a contract that I signed with Vacation Consultant Services, LLC, which has NOT been fulfilled and [redacted] have not been paid, they have never been notified about paying off my maintenance fees, so WHO WAS PAID AND FOR WHAT? I am now stuck with an over $8,000 bill, because of you agreed with Vacation Consultant Services, LLC and have taken my money as a part of this scam. I will continue to fight this and will contact an attorney to get my money back, so to me this is a breach of contract for services never delivered.    I am expecting a written respond immediately, because I have been advised to contact the Attorney General Office to file a complaint regarding this situation and that will happen today and I will continue to fight this Scam and an injustice, because of Vacation Consultant Services, LLC and [redacted].   FYIRevdex.com WEBSITE: PATTERN OF COMPLAINT Revdex.com is advising consumers to use caution when considering business with Vacation Consulting Services.  Revdex.com has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging misleading advertising, failure to issue refunds, failure to cancel a contract and overall poor customer service.VCS WEBSITE: The presentation was ALL about helping us with our maintenance feesAs you can see, maintenance fees might be necessary to upkeep the property, but they can quickly become a burden. If you’re among the many timeshare owners that find themselves increasingly displeased with your situation, we can help. Thanks!  On Mon, Jan 29, 2018 at 11:29 AM, [redacted] J. [redacted]   January 29, 2018   Good Morning Ms. [redacted],   Thanks for speaking to me on Friday about the check that you sent to Vacation Consulting Services on November 2017 in the amount of $5,000.  As we discussed, listed below is the contact information that you need to verify that my TimeShare Agency did not receive the money from Vacation Consultant Firm.   Vacation Consulting Services, LLC Contract on July 19, 2017 and they charged me $5,000 and there interest rate was at 18% and that was too high, so I had it transfer to my Credit Union [redacted] with a 15% loan, which I am currently paying. My question is why didn't they use the final payoff amount of $4,102.72 instead of $5,000? I called them and never return my calls. I need help.   My TimeShare - [redacted]s, Inc. Acct. Number [redacted]- [redacted] as of today my Final Bill is in the amount of $4,102.72 - They were not notified for the final amount and have not receive the money. Please feel free to call them today.   The purpose of this was to pay my back payments for my yearly fees. I am a owner of this property.   [redacted]

Ms. [redacted] references some charges she owed, and what she thought was the arrangement between Vacation Consulting Services (VCS) and herself; however, after speaking to Ms. [redacted] it was realized that there was a misunderstanding. Ms. [redacted] did sign up for our services to relieve her of her...

timeshare, but our contract does not state that we will pay the back owed maintenance fees. During our discussion it was discovered that Ms. [redacted] has a loan for our services and her backdated maintenance fees. VCS certainly wants to help Ms. [redacted] and apologizes for the miscommunication. VCS feels confident that we will be able to accommodate the needs of Ms. [redacted] and clear up the mistake. We appreciate hearing from Ms. [redacted] and look forward to working with her.

The client was invited to a meeting with our company after she reached out to a webpage asking for help...

with her timeshare. We did not "cold call" her. While she was served a nice dinner in a very large open room with many other clients of all ages, a presentation was shown explaining the various ways Vacation Consulting Services helps owners with their timeshare problems. She was certainly free to leave at anytime. Instead, she chose to stay after dinner and meet with a consultant one-on-one to discuss a solution to her problem. Specifically, she was not interested in leaving the financial burden of a timeshare to her children.
According to the client, she pays [redacted] a year in maintenance fees and [redacted] in taxes. Even with no loan, she, and eventually her children, will be legally responsible for these fees and any increases that occur. In just 10 years, she (or her children) will owe a minimum of [redacted] Vacation Consulting Services charged her a fee to liquidate her deed and take on the responsibility and risk she and her children no longer wished to have. Please keep in mind, within this fee, was the internal transfer fee that is required by the resort.
The client purchased with Vacation Consulting Services on December 9, 2014 in a hotel banquet hall. She left with a copy of all contracts and a purchase proposal she signed and initialed next to our cancellation policy. All customers have 3 days within purchase to cancel by certified letter to our offices without penalty. We spoke to her on December 10th and 11th to ask her if she had any questions or concerns. She had none. We then spoke to her on December 16th and 17th to go over a step-by-step process of how we will be transferring her out of her property. She still did not mention a problem. Then on January 18th, we received a letter from her attorney asking us to not contact her. This letter did not ask to cancel the contract. We tried to call her attorney twice and he did not return our phone calls. As of today, May 6th, 2015, we have not received any official cancellation from the client and she never disputed the charges with her credit card company.
Because the client did not send in her deed, we could not finish the transferring of the property, so we will be refunding her money. We are offering this refund even though she never officially cancelled her contract and we are well past the cancellation date. I was finally able to speak to her attorney last week and he agreed this would resolve the problem. This is our one and only complaint after having served over 200 timeshare owners and helping to liquidate over 230 timeshare deeds. We are extremely proud of the customer service we provide and only wish this client could have experienced it herself. She has never contacted our company directly nor has she returned any of our phone calls. We feel very frustrated that she did not reach out to us for clarification concerning her purchase and our process. We would have loved to help her as initially discussed.
