Review: The store engages in deceptive business practices. The store does not give refunds, only exchanges within 30 days on unopened product. There is nothing in the store that states this nor was I was told this prior to making the purchase. When I went back the next day to return my purchase, I was told I could not and was told this policy is printed at the bottom of my receipt. To find out there is no refund only after the purchase is too late. The purchase has been made and you are stuck with a product. If I had known this prior to the purchase, I would not have made it, as it was a very expensive purchase.Desired Settlement: Return unopened products for a full refund.

Review: My mother who is a senior citizen went into this store looking to buy $100 in cosmetics. She walked away with $10,000 in cosmetics. the sales person did not mention that there is no return policy. Nor was it displayed.I went with my mother to return the product the next day, it and they said all sales are final and showed me her sales receipt. The only place the No Return Policy is visible is on the Final Sales Receipt. It's absurd that only after the sale is finalized that you find out that there is no returns. These sales practices should be abolished and does not protect the consumer. Please help my mother the return. It is almost 10 months of her income.Desired Settlement: looking for refund of unused products

Review: On Monday, 7/21/2014, I purchased the product from the store. As soon as I came home I realized that I should not have done so as it is too expensive for my family budget at the moment. Following Friday, 7/25/2014, I brought unopened product to the store to get refund; however, the salesperson - G[redacted], informed me that Orogold Cosmetics has no refund policy and only manager can help me with my return. I was not notified at the time of purchase that store has no return policy. Sales person called to the store manager and told me that usually the manager will call back in 10 minutes. I waited a while, but my husband and I had movie tickets, so we left. I left the product at the store being sure that after explaining the situation I will most likely be refunded. On Monday, 7/28/2014 I called to the store manager - Y[redacted], and left re a message explaining my family budget issues. I have not received reply and called on Tuesday, 7/29/2014 again. In 15 minutes conversation I was told that there is no refund policy and the informational sign located next to the store register, and that the best deal I can have is additional 20% discount to purchased product. I still cannot believe that I could not get refund for untouched product.Desired Settlement: As my husband is presently between the jobs, I really would like to have refund for such expensive cosmetics that I returned to the store, and honestly, should not have purchased at first place. Before purchasing the cosmetics, I shared with the manager that my husband lost his job, and I am very surprised that Y[redacted], seems like very nice person, did not mentioned no refund policy of the Orogold cosmetics.
