Orr & Associates Insurance Services Reviews (7)

I am a general contractor and I was using this company service for a several monthsIt is a very strange insurance companyIt seems like the agent, the owner and the customer service is the same on-the-phone person One day I've asked the company to mail to me a copy of my certificate of insurance and they've sent to me a very low quality xerox copy that was barely readable! They don't have a printer? So, getting together that fact that in this strange company the same person plays the role of the agent, the customer service and the owner at the same time I've decided that I am not comfortable paying money to this company and I've asked to cancel my policyThat was December I did sign and notarize the cancellation latter, sent that letter to the company and paid off all what they were claiming that I own to themI've got a confirmation for that payment as well Now months later I am getting a collection letter for $and a warning that my policy was cancelled due to my failure to payHave NO idea what this "great" company wants right now and why It is pretty confusing why is the Insurance Company and who is the agent and why your statement says that you've gotten a loan from Imperial PISF You are calling the Per Project Insurance and the owner/manager/service rep (the same person) tells you that you have to call the agent, not the company You call the agent....They recommend you to start with the agentA lot of time is lost for these "figure outs" Finally, I've got another company that provides General Liability Insurance coverage

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business explanation of why they did not issue the policy is untrue and irrelevantI did provide them this documentIt is true that they showed me a "receipt" for the refund I am entitled to (at least they agree that I'm entitled to one)However, as stated in my initial complaint, I have not recieved the money AND the company has refused to verify the account number where they allegedly refunded the moneyPerhaps they refunded it incorrectlyI wouldn't know because they won't check As far as this being a mistake between my bank and theirs, they couldn't possibly know that because they have refused to look in to whether they sent it to the right place or to give me any more information about their bank or the transactionThe good news is that proving I didn't receive it in court will be a simple bank statement I would encourage the business to contact me with more details about where they actually sent the refund and to try to solve this They just keep saying they sent it to the same account they charged it from (but even then almost months later)Well they didn't and my bank ( [redacted] ) is in agreement that a refund was never attempted Regardless of the company response, I will not be letting this go until I actually see a refund in my accountIt would be wise financially for them to address this issue honestly and not with an "we already did it" because they didn't!! Regards, [redacted]

As we have stated to Miss *** in several occasions, I cannot verify the full credit number with Her, because we do not store such information However, we did verify with both *** *** and our merchant services company, Paymentech, that the refund has been issued to their bank I would encourage Miss *** to examine her bank statement again and verify that the funds aren't there If in fact they are not, please put e in touch with somebody at her bank According to miss ***, her bank is accusing us of creating a fraudulent refund receipt With over 5,clients nationwide, it wouldn't benefit us to do something so ridiculous I really want to get this straightened out just as much as Miss ***, but I'm not sure what else we can do without getting the banks involved

On May 22, *** *** contacted us to issue a general liability policy for a construction company, *** *** We processed her payment and submitted everything to the insurance company along with her premium However, Miss *** neglected to provide a copy of the job contract
which is required for policy issuance This requirement is clearly explained in our insurance proposal It was due to her inability to provide this information that we were unable to get the policy issued On July 16, 2015, once we had received the insurance premium back from the carrier, we immediately issued her refund, a copy of which is attached We have contacted our bank and verified that the funds have been sent to her bank Beyond that, there is nothing we can really do for her Miss *** is insisting that she hasn't received her funds We believe that this is an issue between her and her bank, not us

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business explanation of why they did not issue the policy is untrue and irrelevant. I did provide them this document. It is true that they showed me a "receipt" for the refund I am entitled to (at least they agree that I'm entitled to one). However, as stated in my initial complaint, I have not recieved the money AND the company has refused to verify the account number where they allegedly refunded the money. Perhaps they refunded it incorrectly. I wouldn't know because they won't check. As far as this being a mistake between my bank and theirs, they couldn't possibly know that because they have refused to look in to whether they sent it to the right place or to give me any more information about their bank or the transaction. The good news is that proving I didn't receive it in court will be a simple bank statement.  I would encourage the business to contact me with more details about where they actually sent the refund and to try to solve this.  They just keep saying they sent it to the same account they charged it from (but even then almost 3 months later). Well they didn't and my bank ([redacted]) is in agreement that a refund was never attempted. Regardless of the company response, I will not be letting this go until I actually see a refund in my account. It would be wise financially for them to address this issue honestly and not with an "we already did it" because they didn't!!

That was December 2013. I did sign and notarize the cancellation latter, sent that letter to the company and paid off all what they were claiming that I own to them... I've got a confirmation for that payment as well.
Now 5 months later I am getting a collection letter for $36.55 and a warning that my policy was cancelled due to my failure to pay.... Have NO idea what this "great" company wants right now and why.
It is pretty confusing why is the Insurance Company and who is the agent and why your statement says that you've gotten a loan from Imperial PISF.
You are calling the Per Project Insurance and the owner/manager/service rep (the same person) tells you that you have to call the agent, not the company.
You call the agent....They recommend you to start with the agent.... A lot of time is lost for these "figure outs".
Finally, I've got another company that provides General Liability Insurance coverage
