on 1/18/2020 PM I was at the dealership of Orr Imports location on 1111 E. Bert Kouns Ind Loop in Shreveport, La looking at used vehicles at this dealership the person waiting on me at this time was Mr. Clem Lott, Orr Kia in Shreveport lot. as we did drive one vehicle that I was perhaps interested in a 2017 Buick envision as we sit at his desk talking I explained clearly that I did not want a credit pull done because I was and had all intension of having my own credit union to purchasing this vehicle for me.There fore all I really wanted was the buyers order slip write up. This sale man continued to talk and talk about how they had lost of buyers and I could get approved with one of there bankers approval and the interest would be lower most likely he went and on...I repeated to him I was going to use my own loan company Again I totally explained again to him I did not want a credit report pulled because I was already approved by my credit union he kept talking about what they could do and the several bankers that they had I repeated to him again how I wanted my car buying done..I knew what my credit union interest was and how I wanted to make my payments. Finally I said again I don't want a credit pulled on me and the only way I would it would have to be a Soft credit pull he even wrote in on the buyers sheet of paper to take to the finincal offier in there building You may only do a soft credit pull I explained this again to Mr. Lott, as plainly as I could NO hard credit pull But when I can into work to check my credit history on the 2/4/20 there was 5 yes 5 credit history pulls done on each bureau from Orr out of Shreveport, La. all 4/5 pulls was done on 1/18/20 by Orr Imports on E. Bert Kouns Loop. They took it up on them self to dis obey me my orders was no hard credit pull because I never gave permission to any one to do this to me I wanted it keep my options open and I was already approved at my credit union this bad behavior has cost me to drop down in scoring points and hurt me bad

Desired Outcome

Repair All i am seeking is to have these credit report history removed from all 3 credit bureau a new report should be made to all 3 and remove what they did without my permission or ackownlegement of what did did wrong this will satisfy me . remove does credit pulls that i did not approve of on 1/18/20 from my history reports.

I got a car for my daughter last year, about 1 month ago for some unknown reason. KIAA took the car back stating I cant purchase a vehicle for her.
About a year ago, I purchase a car for my daughter with my credit. according to KIAA that was legit, however, about a month ago, they took the car back stating it was illegal to do that. The account had been set up for my daughter to pay for the car which she did on a monthly basis. She made payments for a whole year then KIAA decided to reposess the car STATING that I couldnt use my credit to purchase another indivdual a car.....they also stated that no one could drive
that car unless they were on the contract. None of that made sense. They took a years worth of payments even after we had returned the car on 3 different occasions for the same problem. The excuse for taking the car back makes no sense. They should either honor their sales agreement or return my money dissolve that contract. The contract was done with me, the sales rep and the individual from accounting. They probably gonna give you the run around too but thanks for your support. From a Proud Vietnam Era Vet

Desired Outcome

Either a Refund or return the vehicle back to me.

sorry to hear about the issue, we at the dealership have nothing to do with taking any ones car, sounds like an issue with the bank. Please give me a call and ill try to help all I can.

I purchased a vehicle that was not as advertised online or in person. I only learned of the discrepancy after my purchase.
I purchased a 2006 Ford F-150 from Orr Kia in Shreveport, La on August 6, 2019. The truck is an extended cab, four wheel drive pickup, that I intended to utilize as a hunting/fishing truck. The stock number for the vehicle was TSBXXXXX. The truck was advertised online as having 135,000 miles on the odometer. Based on the online advertisement/description I went to the dealership to see the truck in person. Once at the dealership I inspected the vehicle and noticed that the odometer would not display on the dashboard. I was assured by the salesman, *** that the truck did only have 135,000 miles on it. I expressly stated that I did not want a vehicle with more than 175,000 miles on it. *** stated that the odometer comes on and goes off at times and that he'd saw the odometer reading, himself. Based on that information I purchased the vehicle with a check totaling $5,781. On August 12, 2019 I took the vehicle to the local Ford dealership in my hometown of Ruston, Louisiana and was told by someone in the service department that the odometer cluster was not functioning and that there was no way the odometer would ever come on. I have a follow-up appointment to get the odometer fixed on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. While I was at the dealership having the odometer checked I found registration paperwork for the truck dated August 18, 2015 that showed that at that time the truck had 199,000 miles on it. After the discovery I called the dealership and told them that the truck was not as advertised and that I'd found paperwork showing it had at least 199,000 miles on it. I spoke to *** Hunter and the sales manager but they were rude and offered no information or assistance. They argued that I had signed acknowledging that the truck had 199,000 miles on it, but I have paperwork from the sales that shows 135,000 miles. When I spoke with them about the paperwork I found they were not aware that it was from 2015 and argued that I was told the truck had 199,000 miles on it when I purchased it. They didn't realize that the paperwork was from 2015 and it had that mileage on it at that time and not currently. This shows that intentionally misrepresented the vehicle. I have saved the online advertisement that initially drew my attention. It states that the truck had 135,000 miles on it. I have the buyer's order and invoice that I received when I purchased the vehicle that states it had 135,000 miles on it. I also still have the registration from August of 2015 that shows that at that time the truck had 199,000 miles on it. I'm appalled at the way this dealership conducts business and I'm upset and disappointed at the manner in which they spoke to me and lied after I brought the discrepancy to their attention. I appreciate any and all assistance that you can lend.

Desired Outcome

Due to the misrepresentation of the vehicle that I purchased I'd like to be refunded the full amount I paid for the vehicle. I expressly told the salesman, *** Hunter, that had no interest in any vehicle with over 175,000 miles on it and was assured that this vehicle had what was advertised, what he said, and what is on my paperwork, which is 135,000 miles. An optimal resolution for me would be a full refund of my money and the return of their vehicle.

has been refunded in full for this vehicle. Please close this case.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept this response and verify that my money was refunded after I emailed the General Manager. I was able to provide documents that the history of the vehicle was not disclosed correctly. FYI: Shortly after I was refunded, the dealership again listed this same vehicle for sale claiming the mileage was 135,000, knowing my money was refunded for false representation.

Sold an invalid Gap contract.
Purchased the vehicle in December of 2015. Vehicle became a total loss in May 2019. Insurance has paid their portion. Contacted Foresight Services group in regards to my gap coverage only to find out that I didn't have any coverage. The only contract they had for the vehicle was from an October 2015 purchase. Filed a complaint with the Louisiana Insurance Commission and spoke with the manager at the dealership only to be given excuses and sarcasm to my situation. I will never purchase another Kia product from that particular dealership. They have lost a customer with me.

Desired Outcome

Cover the remaining balance on the vehicle and assistance with getting a new vehicle of my choice.

we have contacted to gap company and the claim will be paid....due to credit we do not have a bank that will finance Mrs. at this time.

Purchased a 2011 kia Optima from Orr kia on Feb X XXXX. The car had 75k miles on it and with kia offering a 10year 100k mile warranty I was led to believe this car still fell under said coverage. I was told by the salesman as well as both finance representatives that I had 2 year 25k miles on multiple occasions. With that knowledge as well as having both finance representatives tell me I could send extra payments in and pay down my principal to reduce my interest cost I felt I could purchase the car pay it off before I ever met 25k mile or 2 year limitation. Within a day I had to bring the car back to have it looked at. The alternator ended up going bad and was never caught by their inspection. In trying to have the car fixed I was given the run around before the service representative finally went to sales manager where then the sale manager went to the service manager and right in front of me they screamed and argued as if it was a problem for them to fix their mistake. I eventually got my first problem resolved but only after being made to feel this was a problem. So I went on about my day only to notice the transmission acting up and in time the motor but at this point I definitely didnt feel I was going to get any help so I starter to look into my contract to see what steps I was going to need to take via warranty. That when I realize the only thing on my contract was an extended service contract. I initially thought this was a service program ( oil changes, air filter, ect). To clarify I went back to dealership where I was then told by the same finance representative that it was the warranty that I payed 1800 for and it only 1 year 12k miles. When I asked about the warranty we had previously discussed that when he informed me I could receive that warranty and the warranty I recieved was a stipulation of the finance company and Orr kia had no control of it. I have now contacted the finance company on two different occasions where I have now been informed I cant pay on principle, and they absolutely do not require a warranty to receive financing. So now I have a failing car only 1 month 1300 miles into my possession as well as a car with a warranty I didnt want while not being able to pay the car off as planned and both situations where the deciding factor on my decision to purchase.

Desired Outcome

Desired Settlement ID: Refund I would like for Orr Kia to fix the car 100% at no cost to me. Also, if I cannot receive the remainder of the manufacturer warranty as promised then I would like to have the warranty I was sold removed. If these terms cannot be met I would like a refund in full.

I spoke with Mr. this morning.
1. he paid 1300 for the warranty CAC (finance company) offers...I sent him what the warranty covers. If he wants me to cancel it, I have no problem doing so...he will review and get back to me.
2. We have performed all of upgrades and updates available
3. KIA has a lifetime engine warranty through PI1803W/X. He will be given a copy when he picks up his car from service
We talked about making principal payments and some ideas to beat the interest rate.

Thank you

I have spoken with Mr. however have been informed to not come back in till my next oil change or till the motor locks up. However the oil consumption test has not been completed and in my not coming in to dealership for the next 3000 miles would show negligence on my part according to the steps the warranty requires. With that said I have asked for written steps that both myself and the dealership have taken and intend to take. I have not received that and in fact was told to simply take Mr *** word. I do not feel comfortable doing that and would greatly appreciate a written agreement/plan. I would also like a full description of the warranty the dealership intends to use to resolve this issue, as well as signed paperwork saying I am covered under this warranty.

I went back in this morning 4/17 for more clarity because after being told the dealership did not put oil in the car on 4/15 and then checking oil myself to find it now actually had more oil in it than it calls for left me further more concerned. If they put more oil in the car than 5 quarts and the oil consumption test is based on that and the dealership is putting extra oil in then they seem to be trying the cheat the test.I spoke with the service manager who then informed me that he was there when the oil was put in and that I do need to continue coming in every 500 to 1000 miles to continue the test.

I am being told multiple different steps to take and none of them are the same. So to eliminate this confusion it would be greatly appreciated getting everything in writing and signed so that we can try to move forward with a clear understanding of what's expected of both myself and the dealership.

Thirty six days ago I purchased a vehicle from Orr Kia in Shreveport. On November the 26th, 2018, the finance manager of Orr Kia in Shreveport on Bert Kouns called me and told me that we need to figure out a way on how to get the car brought back up to them. He said that the car will no longer be mine because of financial issues. In a spot delivery agreement, in which I signed, it states, 'the dealer has a few days or a few weeks to get loan approval; and if the dealer is unable to set up a loan then you will have to give them back the car'! The contracted paper (sales agreement) that I signed said that the Spot Law says within 25 days. It has been 36 days as of today!! The finance manager stated that he did not want to contact me during the holidays, which was only one day!!! I do believe that my paperwork was put in wrong because they were to worried about get their quota for that month. Knowing whether or not my loan was approved or not, and having me to sign paperwork for a car that is now mine, is very fraudulent!! The service was awful since day one. I didn't even get to choose the car that I wanted. The dealers were to worried about the actual sale and didn't even worry about how the car was going to be financed!! This whole process is dehorsing!!! And for me to just hand my keys over without any legal paperwork on why I'm unable to keep my car is wrong and illegal!!! They're basically trying to steal my car from me!!!

consumer complaint resolved. Customer states she is in her car and happy.

I'm writing this complaint regarding an unauthorized credit inquiry.
In February this year, I contacted one of your employee by the name of *** I was looking into a Kia Optima but wasn't for sure if that was the vehicle I was going to get. I advised Mr. that I had already been approved through my bank Navy Federal for $22,000. I live in Texas and told him that I would be traveling to your dealership. *** advised me that I would still need to do an application just for your company to have on file but there wouldn't be any pulling of my credit. On February 28, he texted me with the link and told me that once he was in he would see it. In our conversation, he specifically told me that it would be a soft pull. I did the application and 5 minutes later a man name *** contacts me. I told him I was working with Antonio. I received an alert from Experian saying my credit was pulled. I immediately contacted Antonio and he said *** pulled my application and ran my credit. I didnt authorize anyone from *** Mitsubishi to run my credit. I was advise that it was going to be a soft inquiry and have texted messages to prove as proof. That isnt fair to me that I was told one thing and another thing was done. I can only go by the word of your empolyee. This inquiry needs to be removed from my credit report.

Desired Outcome

Please remove this unauthorized credit inquiry from my credit reports.

Orr Kia Response • Jun 18, 2018

I am very sorry for this. I am in touch with Experian and will have removed. Thank you

Thank you for accepting the error but there is a credit inquiry also listed on my Equifax as well. It would need to be removed from there as well.
