Ortho On Call

After two days of excruciating neck and left arm pain from a possible pinched cervical nerve, I went to the Westbury location of Ortho on CallThis was Friday pm on 10/14/16, and I could not imagine going thru the weekend without treatmentWhen I arrived, I saw that there was only one doctor on call, so I was not upset to wait hours before being seenWhat did surprise me was that a man came in, introduced himself as the x-ray tech, and proceeded to take my historyNo one took my blood pressure or pulseX-rays were taken, & the doctor came in & stood across the room from me, advising me that my cervical fusion plate (previous surgery) appeared intactThat's itNo offer for medication to help me thru the weekendI had to ASK for a steroid course, which an RX was providedThey set me up to be seen by a spine drin their practice...but weeks in the future! Although I suspected a pinched nerve, my symptoms could have also been a result of a heart attackThese people do not practice good medicine, and I will never go there again
