Dear Revdex.com, On 2/6/both myself and my treatment coordinator spoke with Bertha Bejarano of the Revdex.com and we verbally went over the Patient letter sent from your company, after further investigation patient is currently $delinquent in her signed contract with our office which was signed on
3/10/patient is a very difficult case and to finish *** in a satisfactory manner we need patient to keep her scheduled appointments. On 3/10/upper braces were placed on *** teeth and she was seen every weeks sometimes soonerIn the beginning *** did not miss an appointment *** and was a model patientStarting in June of 2016, *** missed her 6/23/appointment for lower braces leaving a hour hole in our scheduleOn 8/lower braces were finally placed and *** made her September appointment as wellAfter her September appointments she missed appointments of minutes each of which we rescheduled so we lost as a business minutes of chair timeOnce a patient misses more than appointments in a year we place patient on probation*** said the reason for her missed appointments were because She moved to Studio City, Ca and she requested a new Orthodontist this seemed like a reasonable requestSo In a transfer out firm was filled out by our office transferring and dismissing *** to an orthodontist in Southern Ca. At this time *** was now $delinquent in her contract to us, we offered to write off her balance and let her transfer out to a Dr *** an Orthodontist from studio city which is near where she livedIn December *** contacted our treatment Coordinator *** *** telling her she no longer wanted to transfer and request another minute appointment and wanted us to continue treatmentI instructed our front desk to inform patient we would accept *** back as a patient but we would need her to rewrite her contract and we offered to waive all her late fees plus lower her monthly payments the last payment we received from *** was $on August 2017, we have not received any additional paymentsOne day before her appointment in December 2017, *** cancelled her appointment again Dear Revdex.com we really want to work with *** she is a very nice young lady and I think she is just confused on what to do plus she is having to drive long distances for her appointment We have already officially transferred her and dismissed her from our practice but since w had not worked on her since 5/18/with the number of missed appointments, the difficul of her case and not paying her contract it will be difficult for any Orthodontist to accept he into their practice. We only want to see *** happy but as a business we cannot be successful when a patie misses huge blocks of scheduled time *** has missed at least appointments costing u hours of lost chair time and production in addition when she wanted to come back she waited until the last minute to cancel her December appointment leaving us in a position where we could not find someone to feel her slot*** also owes us a large amount of money and after her cancellation in December we place her account into collections(Currently since she sent this letter I have informed collection agency that you are involved and they will take no action at this time) Because I respect the Revdex.com, Bertha I am willing to see patient again, but I need to get her back quickly to our officeIn addition I am willing to see her more frequently so we can finish her case soonerIn terms of her contract our computer system will not allow us to se a patient who is delinquent, misses or reschedules appointments frequently and has been dismissed from our office and referred to collections. Bertha we will rewrite *** contract to $a month if she would likeAnother option is to accept where *** is for now remover her braces and place retainers at no cast to ***We will forgive her entire balance and remove her from collections plus we will amend our notes so her dental transfer records will just show that patient moved.Again if she just wants her braces off I would be willing to take them all off at no cost to her provide her free retainers and when she has the money she can finish her treatment in Southern California but the worst thing we can do is not let her go this long between appointments because its is not good for the health of her gums and teeth. Lastly, Bertha please tell patent we cannot refund someone who owes us money, normally this account should have been referred to collections much earlier but because we like ***and she is so young we did not want to damage her creditBertha we have seen *** over times since we placed braces on the upper and lower arches plus she has missed over appointments she was suppose to complete her treatment on 11/17/so most of her work has been completedI will also include printout of her contract, underline missed appointments and payments she has made. Bertha I really hope you can resolve this issue between the patient and our officeWe know this is a very young girl who probably low on money and someone told her writing a letter reporting us to the Revdex.com would scare us into a refundWe have been very gracious with patient as you can see by the tone of this letter but we will not provide a refundI will agree to see her as a patient with no hard feeling but she must show up for her agreed upon appointments and she also must sign a new contractI will waive all late fees and lower he monthly payments to $a month or I can take off braces and write off her entire balance and not report her to collection agency nor will I write in our charts the amount of cancelled appointments.
