Review: On 01/**/15 I was seen by this establishment (orthopedic associates of Manhasset) at their [redacted] office for my hip, My co payment is 25$ which was paid an MRI was need so I went to [redacted]. Then 1/**/15 I was seen again at their office in [redacted] this time for my knee and x ray was taken they could not tell from the x-ray what was causing the issue. They told me and MRI would be need, I stated that I would go to [redacted] for the MRI and schedule another appointment with them. They told me I did not need to do that b/c they had there own MRI on site. I replied that my insurance would need to authorize it 1st other wise it would not be covered. They told me there would be no need for that b/c it would be covered under this Visits Co payment (which is 25$ dollars). Normally with [redacted] I get a CD rom of the MRI for my own records and why I prefer them for MRI's how ever b/c I was told by the doctor ([redacted]) it would be covered by my Co payment for this visit. I opted to have the MIR done at orthopedic associates of Manhasset. The MRI Came back negative so they pulled [redacted] to fine out if there was [redacted] that was preventing me from being able to move the knee. I was handed my paper work to make payment at the front desk. I made my Co payment of 25$ after the receptionist in charge of billing went over the paper work. I asked if I was all set payment and if they needed any thing else. I was told no you are all set and left I had a witness to these conversation b/c I was unable to drive at the time . later on 02/**/15 I received not only a bill for the MRI on 01/**/15 for 50% by mail but they also tried to bill me more for the 1st visit on 1/**/15 25$ for a total of 75$.Desired Settlement: I'm not paying for the MRI, I shouldn't have to pay for something I was told I wouldn't have too.or they can provide me with a CD rom of the MRI for my records like I would have gotten from [redacted] and I will be happy to pay. And the visit for 01/**/15 was already paid, I have records of payment. I am not paying again for something I already did.
