obligated to follow the terms of the agreementwith the health plan as stated and agreed upon by the health plan and OrthopedicsNorthwest, PLLC. The consumer, in this case, a member of the health plan specificallyrequires the member to pay a $50 co-pay. This requirement is acknowledged by theconsumer and in this case the member of the health plan. She knew one of the staffmade a mistake in not collecting the full amount of the co-pay at the time of service butas the consumer put it to the office staff "that's not my problem". Well actuallyaccording to her health plan she is obligated to pay that amount. As to the referenceover what is covered under her health plan for specific treatment options, that again isthe responsibility of the consumer to contact the health plan and have them explaintheir benefits to her. As we tried to explain, but she was very condescending, it is herhealth plan and they can best provide the most complete information.SincerelyChuck S[redacted], Administrator

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The administrator fails to recognize that he and his coworkers are wrong in why I'm upset.  He failed to listen to me. I am not and have not ever been confused as to my plan.  He and his office staff failed to conduct accurate business, failed to treat me with respect, and continue to fail to recognize their shortcomings in customer service.  The administrator and his coworkers did not adequately educate the consumer. It is unreasonable to expect to simply be a conduit of funds, and take no responsibility for educating patients and treating them kindly and with respect.  The fact that he chooses to do business like that is unacceptable. Stay away from Dr Demill! Although he claims to specialize in foot and ankle, he completely failed on my relatively simple ankle surgery which left me in greater pain than I originally suffered. I was out of work for 5 months , contracted a terrible infection, and had to infuse a daily dose of antibiotics for 43 consecutive days!! On my last visit - he suggested more surgery, this time using ( hardware) to immobilize my foot! I have heard horror stories like these, but never in my wildest dreams thought I would be writing reviews to the negative side of a surgical procedure of my own. If you're in need of surgery - or a specific surgeon, please take the time to check out somewhere / someone else.
