different type of insole (sport and cork). I returned them for him and he seemed to be happy for it for a minute. He wanted to return the shoes too, and I said we would need supporting documentation from the doctor. He just said the doctor told him to bring them in. we said we could not return them without the doctor's notice. My practitioner contacted Dr. Weiss and he said they need to attach parts (rocker bottom and heel lift) to the shoes. He said he didn't want to do that because he would have to pay for these extras out of pocket. He said he doesn't want them if Medicare would not pay for them. The doctor said he never said another word about these insoles or shoes. We heard nothing else from the patient. He did sign the delivery note, which is required by Medicare. It says his name, date, and describes everything he was getting: shoes, inserts, etc. He got three pairs of inserts, which I already returned for him.
