My daughter had a terrible experience with [redacted] (The Boulder's Office location) She fractured her clavicle without any trauma (she simply shrugged and heard a POP) and on our first visit, [redacted] response to how it occurred was "I don't buy it, but whatever", and was very rushed and would not address any of my concerns over why and how that could happen - stated nothing could be done until after she healed I called the office manager and requested a follow up with a different doctor in their practice, but the other pediatric doctor refused When we went to the follow up appointment with [redacted] ***, I wanted answers on how she could break a bone from shrugging and he advised "It shouldn't happen, but clearly it did and I have no explanation" After he left the room because he clearly thought the appointment was over, I asked the nurse to send him back in because I had more questions, I asked him what he thought about her bone density - he said that it looked fine based on the X-ray and he didn't want to perform "Shotgun medicine, but he would order the test although he knew the results would be normal"(that is a very shortened version of the convo - it took a lot of convincing on my end to get him to order it) I am thankful that I pushed him because her bone density results showed "Significantly lower than for her age" and when I took her to her general physician for 2nd opinion, she ordered blood tests which showed an extreme Vitamin D deficiency If I had not pushed for that testing and just assumed that he knew best as the doctor - how much worse would my daughter's health get? Scary to think about [redacted] *** is clearly negligent - he has zero bedside manner and serves patients like they are at a fast food restaurant - get them in and out I would NEVER recommend him and frankly, I don't believe he should be a doctor at all If you don't care about your patients - why do it?

My husband has been in pain and injured with a herniated disc for MONTHS! I have called and called and left messages and have been told that a nurse or a doctor or a SOMEONE was going to return my callFINALLY on 03/10/I get in touch with LisaShe states that she is off on 03/11/and will leave a message for Kristen, who by the way is the most RUDE, UNPROSESSIONAL individual I have EVER had the displeasure of dealing withI called on 03/11/and got Kristen (rude) on the phone who states she has no message from Lisa and then states that I was supposed to call herThis office obviously cannot get the stories, facts or patient care in orderThey probably should reevaluate their courses of action with patient care and re-evaluate their choices in unreliable staffThis will not be the only complaint I file todayUnbelievable

I have been a patient with this medical practice for several different issuesI recall a time when they performed an elbow surgeryI finished the physical therapyBut, I was having some numbness, tingling and falling asleep in my little finger I called the office and left a voice mail seeking answersThat was years agoI still have not received an answerThe doctor that performed the surgery, had NO bedside mannerNeither did he ever answer any face to face questions I askedHe basically would look at me as if my lips were moving and I was speaking a different languageI should have taken a lesson from this experienceHowever, I continued to go to this facility for other issuesI was a patient for year for a back injuryMoving forward to present date, I've been back to this office for my back issueNothing had changed regarding the nature of how patients are treatedAs if they are merely, animals with no feelings or emotionsNot worthy of having any questions answersThe Orthopedic physician saw me onceThereafter, I was seen by his assistantI felt invisible when communicating with the Physician's Assistant Adding insult to injury, they claimed to have mixed up my work release paperwork with that of another patientThis has cost me financial hardshipI've called the office, leaving voice mails specifying the contact number to return my callThey have never called that numberThey have yet to confirm that they indeed put me on medical restrictionsAnd, I have the paperwork with my SSN, name, and other identifying informationTherefore, how could my paperwork be that of another patient? Also, my HR staff telephoned the doctor's office to confirm the restrictionsThe office confirmedNow, deniesMany years ago when the office was West End Orthopedic Clinic, they had some issuesHowever, even with those issues, I thought there wasn't anyway they could have gotten any worstWRONG!

Boulders Location: The front office staff were quite indifferent about my excessive wait timeI arrived minutes earlyMy appointment was at 4pm, I was not called back until 4:40pmI approached the front office staff at 15minutes after my appointment, the staff did not seemed concerned nor were they apologeticI would not refer this office to anyone

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint At no time did I (consumer) sign off on any financial policy / disclosure statement agreeing to **% in collection / attorney's fees, or otherwiseNo such financial disclosure statement was signed / agreed to by me, or was disclosed by the practicePlease provide said written evidence thereof Furthermore, fee is excessive, and unearned: Am I to believe a software generated form letter, sent to me on occasions, costs OrthoVirginia / its Collections Agency $ [redacted] each? That is ridiculousThe practice is attempting to pass along its percentage payable to its collections agency to me, the consumer, which was unearned by both OrthoVirginia / its Collections Agency Regards, [redacted]

I have used orthovirginia several times. I had used around 3 years ago. I had seen 2 doctors. Wonderful experience..great staff all around..I was seen for shoulder issues which ended up being osteoarthritis and was so bad it was bone on bone. The Dr advised I should have shoulder replacement. I was hard headed and declined. I even went for 2nd opinion. In the end I went on pain management and physical therapy. Also at ortho my Dr gave me a cortisone shot in the back of shoulder. Fast forward to July 18th 2019. I had a appt with Dr Malasitt. I was extremely early but they allowed me to wait and it was minimal. The nurse was very nice. I had xrays done and waited for Dr. When he came in he brought not 1 but 2 interns with him. His first question was do you work? No big deal I assumed because of my shoulder issue until I replied no and he said why not are you on disability or something? That was first red flag. I shouldve left. He then checked my shoulder with the usual exercises. He never while I was in the exam room showed me xrays. He then proceeded to tell me that he saw some arthritis and he suggested a shot to help relieve pain in the front of shoulder. The last time my other Dr did in back of shoulder in which this Dr stated it should not have been there. I asked about pain management again( I had stopped a couple years back because I had no insurance ) and physical therapy and possibly the surgery. He then stated well I guess we can do physical therapy 1 time a week for 6 weeks. He stated he would put me on anti inflammatory meds and that the shot I would get should hold me over until my next visit with him in 3 Months! Now mind you I am bone to bone I had explained how worse this shoulder was. It was effecting daily routine. My husband has to help put on bra..it is hard to reach around to even do what I needed in bathroom. This is my right shoulder and I am right handed. I am not sleeping due to how painful it is at night. At some points I have to drive left handed because the pain is so bad. He then said surgery is not an option for me because my mass index was 47 and couldn't be over 40..basically I was too over weight. He kept saying you need to lose weight. At least 4 times. I get that but what I don't get is why the lady Dr who stated I needed surgery never once said my weight was issue and I was around same weight. He left the office..the nurse came in I told her I was unhappy with him and weould not come back. I was led to check out thinking that I was at least getting shot only to be told I could get that until August 5th and this shot wasn't even as strong as the cortisone! In 3 years my arthritis has gotten worse and I'm being treated as if this is just a simple pain in shoulder! The Dr nurse must have told him what I had said because as I was leaving literally through the door he rushes up with an stay to finally show me and kept talking about why I shouldn't have surgery..this time stating I was too young..I am 49. The surgery wasn't the main issue I needed relief and he blew it off. I had my daughter in law with me she witnessed this all and was in disbelief. She is a nurse herself. My opinion and I have never ever in my life ever felt this way was that I was profiled. He came in saw my tattoos on both arms..broken front tooth due to falling down steps on back deck (tripped over grandchild toy) and that I had Medicaid. I think he immediately thought I was there just for pain meds ..even tho I only mentioned going on pain management again 1 time. I should have seen what was coming when he asked why wasn't I working. Let me just state for the record. I am a pastor's wife. Yes I stay at home( I recently left dominion energy due to other medical) and plan to go back. I will never refer orthovirginia again even tho I have did this on Facebook or anyone asking for best orthopedic in the past years. This doctor was rude and condescending..he was very belittling in the things he said. I am not stopping here on my complaints either. I am going to fb..the local paper and even a lawyer AFTER I go to another Dr. So disappointed

I had some spelling issues...it was not lady Dr ..it was last doctor. Also at the end he rushed out when I was leaving to show me ..finally..an xray
