In response to the complaint against us we regret that one of our valued customers was not satisfied. 
We met this customer through her mother that we did alot of work for updating her house with many things such as plumbing. They both seemed very satisfied with the work we...

performed and things went smoothly at first.   The complaintant then hired us upon finishing some work for her mother.  There were a number of things on the contracted job that we were hired for.   At this time we were getting a large amount of calls from our many other valued customers.   It is not unusual that this happens in our business that we get very busy with customers that need service such as getting water service back on at their house or needing hot water.
    We as the owner of Ortt's Plumbing prioritize these calls.  We try very hard to not leave a family without water or hot water.  At the time we were to start the job for the complaintant we were getting very busy with these types of calls.  We could not start her job until we took care of our cutomers that had work that we believed were more urgent then the updates she needed at the time.  We had explained this to her and at first she seemed to be understanding.  The longer she had to wait the more rude her and her mother had become with us.  Leaving us messages that were not in the manner of which we do business.  We continued to try and get them to understand. We had finished a job a few weeks earlier for her mother and her mother called and told us she wasn't paying us anything until we started her daughters job.  At this time we had grown very weary of this situation.  We started the job around a week later.  This job was under a signed contract with us.  We  had completed all of the work execpt for the gas logs. The complaintant was never understanding during this job when we couldnt make it to her job when she thought we should be there.  By this time we had already decided not to do work for either one of them due to the manner of which they conducted themselves.  The contract stated that she was to pick out and purchase the gas logs and we were to be paid $200.00 for the installation.   The complaintant had told us that she hired and already paid someone else $700.00 to do the job.  She then demanded us to pay her the $700.00 in return for the work that he had performed.  We drove to her house to discuss this matter and had noticed that she had taken down her tv from off of the mount of her living room wall and placed it directly in front of her gas log fireplace.  We noticed that the old logs were still in place and had not been replaced like she had told us.  We explained to her that this is a contract job and asked her to go purchase gas logs and we would finish the job by installing them. We told her to call us when she got them and we never heard back from her.  We do regret that they were not satisfied but also believe we did everything we had promised and were prepared to finish the job we were hired to do.
