Oscar Hare Home Improvement

Review: This is a very unprofessional business in which owner/operator alleges quality material and workers that have over 30 years experience. Owner/operator actually hires day laborer with no extensive experience to do home improvement work in his business name and they perform sloppy low quality work. I was guaranteed high quality work and state of the art materials. Owner/operator assured me his workers are trained and overly skilled and he oversees work as he no longer does work himself, states he worked over 40 years in home improvements. Workers did not complete job agreed upon and left me hanging. Workers did not cover base boards/cover hard wood floors before painting and off white paint was all over baseboards and floor. They also failed to do 2 paint coats and a gloss finish, vinyl tile was unevenly laid and stuffed under borders, horribly measured and failed to complete edges, and landings on steps. Carpet was not completely laid in bedroom. Owner/operator abandon job and I had to find another contractor to redo all the sloppy incomplete work. This was a horrible experience and owner/operator falsely advertises his business and cons consumers into believing otherwise.Desired Settlement: Ensure other consumers looking for home improvement services are aware this business is falsely advertised and does not deliver as they promise.
