If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because when I viewed the hood it was covered with dirt and it would be impossible to tell if it had any damage or dents or rust areas on it.it appeared to be ok until I washed it off before i was going to put it on.that is when I noticed the problems with the hood and I contacted Mike the next day he said to bring it back and I could get a credit at that time I said ok.there was no mention of a time frame to get it back to him.at no time did I do any damage to the hood. the only thing I want is to get the money back and not deal with this anymore.also my son [redacted] was with me the day I purchased the hood and he can verify that it was as dirty as I said and it appeared to be in good condition until we washed it the next day.if there was any mention to me about a certain time to return it it i would have tried my best to get it there.at this point even if I had taken it back on time it sounds to me that I would have been accused of damaging the hood which is totaly not true. Regards,[redacted]

Review: I contacted Mike at Oscars about a white hood for a 99 [redacted] he had on carparts.com.Mike said he had one and he would check the condition of it an call me back. Mike called me back and said it was in good shape so I said I would come and get it.when I got there he had someone show me the hood it wasd out back under a tree and it was very dirty on the top surface.I looked at it and it did not look damaged but as I said to Mike it was very dirty he said that if there was a problem he would work with me.so I said alwright I would buy it.so I purchsed the hood on 10/8/14.the following day I washed the hood down and found that the hood had a rusted corner on the drivers side and big dents and scratches on the top surface.I called Mike and he said he would give me a store credit once I brought it back I said that that would be ok but would have liked to get the money refunded.at this time he never mentioned a set time frame I needed to get the hood back.so when I was finally able to get the hood back on 10/17/14 at around 10am Mike asked me to bring the hood up to the office not a problem he came out and looked at it and I showed him the rust,the dents, and the scratches.I reminded him that it was very dirty when I got it and all I did was wash it off before contacting him.he said there was nothing he could do and the hood was mine and that too much time went by since my puchase on 10/8/14.I just wanted to get a refund as the hood would require hours of body work well exceeding the $75 I paid for the hood at OSCARS.I did bring the reciept with me when I tried to return the hood for a refund/credit.if there was a set time I needed to return it I would have made arrangements to get it back if I was told at the time I spoke to MikeDesired Settlement: I would like to take the hood back without any problems and recieve the $75 cash back that I gave to MIKE at OSCARS and I do not want a credit at this time as it would be better to not do buisness with them at any time in the near future.there was no mention when I spoke to Mike as a set time to return this item or I would have made arrangements to return it.

Dear the Revdex.com,I am writing to you in regards to the complaint you received on 10-1714. The customer came to my business to purchase a white hood for a 1999 [redacted]. The customer seemed very concerned about the condition and Color. I told the customer he can view the hood that I had and he did view it. The Customer was satisfied there was no damage to the hood. The customer than purchased the hood seeming satisfied.The customer returned a week later and said the hood was damaged. When I sold the hood it was not damaged. I couldn't warranty the hood after the customer viewed it and was satisfied. When the customer tried to return the hood it was damaged.SincerelyMichael M
