Oscar's Auto Sales Reviews (1)

We hate to hear that Mrs. [redacted] had a complaint regarding her purchase. Mrs. [redacted] purchased a 2002 Chevrolet Impala with vin# [redacted] on 05/29/14, at the time of purchase we did give her a warranty for 2 months or 2000 miles on engine and transmission. She brought the car in...

for an inspection because the car was driving weird, and the vehicle did indeed have an issue with the head gasket and that time we provided a loaner vehicle for her to drive while her vehicle was being repair. Mrs. [redacted] called us on 08/06/14 to inform us that the vehicle we had loaned her had apparently stopped working and was parked at a [redacted] parking lot. We had a tow company pick up vehicle and brought here, Mrs. [redacted] brought us the key for this vehicle a few days later at which time we checked the loaner vehicle and there was nothing wrong with it. It turned on with no issues. We contacted Mrs. [redacted] and she said she would have her son [redacted] to contact us to see what the issue was and to discuss the status of the Chevrolet Impala. He did not call, however Mrs. [redacted]'s husband did call requesting to speak to [redacted] regarding her account and demanding to have a refund of the money. We explained to him that he was not listed as an owner or on the account and that Mrs. [redacted] would need to come in and speak with [redacted] directly when he came back from out of town. [redacted] was not in the US at the time. We called on 08/14/14 and left a voicemail for Mrs. [redacted] to call us and had no return call, and [redacted] personally called her on 08/15/14 and left a voicemail for her to return his call. She came in on 08/16/14 (Saturday) looking for [redacted] and spoke with [redacted] his brother who was the one in the office at that and he informed her that we had made attempts and left messages for her and that the vehicle had finish being repair and detailed and ready for her to pick up. She proceeded to inform [redacted] that even though her vehicle was being repaired as promised by our dealership under the warranty given to her, she no longer wanted the vehicle because she could not afford to make the necessary payments as required by her contract due to the fact that her son had lost his job and she had no way to pay for two open car loans. [redacted] explained to her that we had held our end of the deal we fixed what we promise to and if there was any other concern she would need to come in and address it with [redacted] directly. Mrs, [redacted] has not made any calls or has been in since this date. No payments have been made on her account since 06/27/14. Her account is $260.00 past due as of today 08/27/14. Regarding her complain about buying 3 tires or doing an oil change those are "normal maintenance issues" and any car owner knows they are responsible for those. We are also wanting to clarify that the amount paid by Mrs. [redacted] to us has been $1460.00 not $2000 as she has stated in her complaint. Lastly regarding her accusations and assumptions concerning what she was told by a "former employee" accusing us that we change speedometers, We respectfully ask that she considers refraining to comment, saying and repeating this since that could very easily be consider slandering which could lead to a lawsuit. Lets also keep in mind this is 3rd vehicle she has purchased at our dealership which makes it very hard to believe that if she believed what "was supposedly told" to her or if she was ever not been satisficed with our customer service or vehicles that she would of continue buying at our dealership. We strongly feel like we have done what we have promised to on paper(see attach documentation)and even done more by providing a loaner vehicle when we were in no obligation to. We have informed her that her car is ready to be pick up. She may continue with her contract and payments as she herself agreed on her contract and we have not charged her any late fees for her past due and are even willing to make a payment arrangement to help her bring her account current. Vehicle is running perfectly fine and that has nothing to do with her defaulting her account and/or choosing to break her contract of purchase for her personal issues.
