She asked me if I would sell two chairs and two tables in my shop because she was moving and had no use for them. She didn't know how she could get them there so as a favor to her I agreed and I picked them up from her residence carried them out and transported them in my work van to my shop a half hour away.That is not a service I have ever provided for anyone else. I did not charge her anything for this service.
There was a lack of interest by any customer seeing these chairs and tables for over a year. I also did not ask her to come and remove them after three months though they did take up valuable floor space.
We experienced some personal tragedies last year when our son was killed in a road accident and our daughter has been in critical condition. During this time we had to take time away from the business and have several other people work in our absence. This is not an excuse in anyway but the reason shesaw another person when she states she stopped in.
This person complaining knows where we live and has been where we live many times over the years. She spent 20 minutes visiting with us this winter when she was walking her dogs a block from our home and we stopped to talk to her. At that time she asked if her items had sold and I told her I would check when I returned to the shop in case they had sold during my absence. She said, "no problem, whenever you get to it"She knows our home phone number and we are in the phone book. We even joked that we weren't going anywhere and she knew where to find us. She could have called my wife anytime and my wife would have written her a check on the spot.
We were perplexed by this tactic on her part until another person we know here told us "shes one of those who likes to stir up trouble" She has apparently been talking to people regarding this. So as anyone in business knows you can have hundreds of customers who rate you very highly on customer satisfaction and service, and I have those excellent reviews in abundance, and one person like this who makes something out of nothing. There is no way to control this being in business. I can supply as many references as you may require.
I find this to be a frivolous waste of the Revdex.coms time as there is nothing to resolve due to her having already being paid in full before. So therefore the matter is settled.
