RE:
   Case #[redacted]

Dear Dispute
Resolution...

Center:

Upon receipt of this
complaint, I contacted [redacted] of the dealership with the guest’s
concerns and he immediately investigated the issue.  [redacted] reported that back in
October 2014, we worked on getting the guest’s registration and titling
paperwork corrected, including bringing the paperwork to the guest for
signature, buying the guest dinner, and giving the guest a gift certificate as
a goodwill gesture for the guest’s inconvenience.

Unfortunately, however,
as the guest indicated in the complaint and in a call to our office last week,
the paperwork was not corrected at that time.
My understanding is that it has now been corrected.  I have asked the dealership to follow up with
the guest to confirm this has been corrected.
There is no excuse for this poor service and series of mistakes.  I have asked the store manager to confirm our
procedures with his team to ensure it does not happen again.

Very truly yours,

I purchased a Minivan and was misled on the price. Sales rep promised me gas cards, free oil changes and free car washes to compensate for the discrepancy and then did not follow through on her word. Manager gave me gas cards but refuses to do anything more, made excuses for their errors, and claims I was never promised these things so I should be happy with what I got.
Nice people, but unethical business practices and very poor customer service skills. I tried so hard to let them resolve this for me and am disappointed they won’t. Will not be purchasing any future vehicles from this company.

Review: I purchased a 2014 Honda Accord on 9-30-14 from Bergstrom. They put my name, address & social security number on the registration form but also put my boyfriend's driver's license on it. He presented his driver's license for the test drive but they were completely aware that I was the only buyer.

After several attempts, Bergstrom finally in late October presented corrected paperwork for me to sign. Months later the registration was not corrected but I was told that they sent in the documents for correcting the title.

It is not Feb 9, 2015 and it has yet to be corrected. I have spoken to receptionists, salespeople, sales managers, finance managers and general managers. Today I was told that they are such a big company that after someone talks to me that nobody is going to know who I talked to or what was said. I demanded that they get me copies of what was sent. That's when I found out that supposedly they have just sent this in on Feb 6, 2015. (I had started calling them on Feb 3 asking again why my registration wasn't updated)

I currently have

a vehicle that is not legally insured

a vehicle that is not legal to drive according to the DMV

a loan that is uncollateralizedDesired Settlement: I want my vehicle registered in my name. They could drive to the Madison DMV and get this resolved in a day, but yet they told me today that it will be at least another 2 months.

If I would have know this would happen before 30 days would up, I would have returned the vehicle and taken my trade in back.

There is no reason that for over 4 months I have had to call over 20 times, write letters, call the DMV and continue to worry about not being insured, uncollateralized and have an unregistered vehicle.

Hi I'm a very angry person with Bergstrom new Honda and also the used location in Oshkosh Wisconsin. I've been trying to invest in a brand new Honda Civic SI and do to credit and such I realized I may have to go use. I was treated very poorly from the finance department in both location!!!! I was originally told that I was qualified and to come pick out my car so thats what I did, only to find out that wasn't the case. Then a I received a call from the finance department telling me that I need to learn how to stop shopping and that they can't help me at all. A day goes by and the used car finance manager called left me a message telling me I should call and set up a time that I can come meet with him and that he again got me credit app approved for the car I wanted. Once again this was a false statement!! I called on the phone before I got ready to go out to the dealer and asked if they had any Hondas since the car I'm looking for and they stated "YES" only to find out it was a lie. When I got there I met with a salesman and the finance manager told them exactly what I wanted once again and they first tried to put me in a Toyota Camry that I denied so then they brought me a VW Passat that I once again refused since its no where near a Honda Civic in any way shape or form. With all that has happened I will not give a good word about my experience with Bergstrom in Oshkosh either location. Customer service is the key in any and all aspects of a business and to me they have very poor customer service.
