Review: Our firm is counsel to [redacted], a former patient of Dr[redacted] of Ostad Medical Group, LLC. [redacted] was scheduled to undergo [redacted]s surgery in February 1997 at Brooklyn Hospital. The surgery was scheduled to be performed by [redacted]. [redacted] fully paid for the operation and sent [redacted]'s office checks totaling $3,000.00. However, the surgery was never performed. Despite repeated requests for reimbursement, [redacted]'s office has failed to refund [redacted] the $3,000.00 he paid. Numerous complaints have been made both in person, through the mail, and over the phone to [redacted]'s office. Within the last three months, two letters were sent to [redacted] by my office but he still has not returned my client's payments.Desired Settlement: Refund of the entire $3,000.00 paid for an unperformed medical procedure.
