In April 2013, I received a $50 gift certificate to Karma Day Spa at my baby shower. Unfortunately to date I have not yet found time to use it (I've been quite busy caring for my infant). I am now being told that since the business came under new management this summer, all gift certificates issued under old management have since expired 10/31/13. Please note, my gift certificate does not indicate an expiration date of any kind nor did anyone contact me to alert me to the supposed change in management affecting said gift certificate. I find this practice of not honoring prior issued gift certificates to be highly unprofessional and on the brink of theft.
