Review: On January 25, 2014, I contracted Otto Home Improvements, LLC (Mr. Simon N[redacted] is the owner of this company) to undertake renovation work and to correct deficiencies made by a previous contractor in the basement bathroom (this is a newly created bathroom. This room used to be a bedroom), the basement bedroom (entirely redone) , and miscellaneous work described in the attached contract at my property located at [redacted], MD [redacted]. I was preparing the house to be rented as I was leaving the US to begin a work assignment in Bangkok, Thailand.About two weeks before my trip, Mr.N[redacted] traveled overseas and assigned his laborer, Mr. Aime T[redacted], to continue the work in his absence. On March 15, 2014, I left the US for Bangkok. However, before I left, the plumbing work was still not finished in the bathroom. Mr. T[redacted] was still trying to fix the lack of pressure in one of the vanity faucets he had just installed. There was pressure only from one of the faucets. Mr. T[redacted] had installed the new vanity sinks and cabinets and done the plumbing as described in the contract. Before leaving for Bangkok, I paid Mr. N[redacted] the remaining balance due to him on the entire work project.Towards the end of April 2014, Mr. N[redacted] told me that all the work in the house was finished and that the plumbing work and water pressure in the basement bathroom were working well. I proceeded to find a tenant with whom I signed a rental agreement on May 1 2014. However, the tenant only moved in the house in early June 2014 and quickly noticed that there was no hot water and that there was no pressure in one of the faucets. Mr. Simon subsequently went to the basement bathroom and fixed the hot water issue and told me that there is nothing he can do about the water pressure. The tenants told me that there could be a hot water issue when the temperatures drop in the winter. I have asked Mr. N[redacted] to fix these two problems but he has not been willing to do so.Desired Settlement: I would like Otto Home Improvement, LLC to fix the lack of water pressure in the basement bathroom vanity faucet. I addition I would like him to ensure that hot water is working well.
