Our Buddy's Place

I do not recommend this daycare to any parent. Children are blocked off by book shelves and expected to play in a small area all day. Management is very disorganized and can never provide you with a bill or receipt on request , the owner is extremely hard to get into contact with and it seems as though the staff never communicate with her either. My kids were never on the morning sign in sheet and instead I had to write their names at the bottom , so I highly doubt they had any idea when my children were coming or going , which is a terrifying thought in itself. My youngest was tired and had a headache one morning and was handed a blanket and told to lay on the floor of the "baby" area , not on a mat but on the floor , this happened right in front of me. My children hated going there and would complain about the staff being mean to them and that they allowed other children to bully them. I could pass this off as simply kids being kids and they wake up early and are sleepy etc. but my children attend a different daycare in the summer , wake up at the same time and have never had these types of complaints with any other provider. We were under the assumption that this was the only provider in our school district and had no other choice but to take them here on certain days , after much research and shifting of schedules we have found another daycare and have removed our children from our buddies place. I am sorry to say I ever had to leave my children at this facility and left with an uneasy feeling every time I kissed them goodbye and walked out the doors , the maximum time we left them there was 2 hours , I can't even imagine leaving them here all day or having a very small child that couldn't tell me what was really going on. I have never written a review on any business and am not one to complain but when it comes to my children I will gladly step up and call someone out , this facility is neither professional , caring , or any type of "buddies" to our children and rather monopolized on the fact that they seem to be the only daycare in the area. Please do your research , call around , call [redacted] (they will help you even if you don't receive assitance ) do not take your children here.
