My 82-yo father continues to receive multiple solicitation mailings from this organization requesting repeat donations to support their supposed cause of lobbying to prevent Social Security system reductions and reforms. My father is a disable veteran of the VietNam war and has been the victim of several "charity" scams via mail and telephone. I continue to struggle to convince him that he should use his limited income to make donations to these very questionable organizations. This organization send mailers out as both The Senior Center and Our Generation, Inc., as well as possibly other titles.

A current solicitation from this organization to my wife is at best misleading, but it may possibly be fraudulent. The mailing is marked "EXTREMELY URGENT" and indicates it is from a focus group in the county in which we live. We live in NJ and the return envelope for any contribution is addressed to Washington, DC! It also misleads by alleging it is a grassroots organization when in fact it is a corporation organized as a 501(C)4 organization and incorporated in 2007. The solicitation also represents that my wife has been "specially chosen" to represent our county of residence. I suppose it really means she is still breathing! I wonder how many others in the county and the nation were "specially chosen!" I don't know if this kind of mailing can be considered mail fraud; it certainly seems like it to me.
