I'm literally giving one star for one employee that worked there that was professional back in March. Other than that, here was my experience....I was referred to this company by a friend of the owner so I signed up to be a gold member in March. They had a technician come out to my house to see why my air conditioner kept freezing up and would stop running. This technician quoted me roughly $10K in "needed repairs". Said my unit was unbalanced and my duct work was too small (for my 1200sqft home). I got a second opinion. Turns out, my switch was bad. Yep, under $50 fix. I called to cancel my membership and let them know what happened. They wanted to send someone else out to assess, but I told them it was unnecessary since it's fixed now and that I really didn't trust them after what the technician (salesman more like it) did so I just wanted to cancel the membership. They did so and apologized, I was fine. I thought, eh, just one bad apple right? No need to tell the world about one tech who tried to scam me. Fast forward 5 months. I get a charge on my credit card for $39.99 from this company. I call them to tell them before I dispute it with my Credit card company. The guy who answered the phone was like, "Well we provided a service, technically you were supposed to pay $79 for the initial visit since you cancelled." I went into further detail about the ridiculous quote I received and that I felt scammed and he literally kept over talking me to tell me that they provided a service and I should have paid the $79 since I cancelled, over and over. I finally had to hang up on this rude man. I am floored that this dude first off, talked to me that way, but secondly that he couldn't see that his technician tried to scam me (a single woman, I knew there was going to be an issue when the tech asked me if my husband needed to make the decision with me, then after I said no, wrote up the quote). Then I had to pay someone else to come out and fix it. Why on earth would they ever expect me to pay for terrible and dishonest service? I mean, take some responsibility people. If you are going to employ these hacks, you need to deal with the consequences. Good luck to whoever deals with the two men I had to deal with at this company. Big thumbs down from me for sure. ð?? ð??

Our place air is beyond incredible. I can not say enough great things about the staff specifically Hakeem, Christian, and Lester. They took the time to help in every way necessary and trust me when I say we had a huge challenge for them. They came back time and again and always acted in a professional manner. Thank you so much for all the hard work.

Have been relying on them for several years. Recent AC problems handled first James and followed up by Josh were completely explained and taken care of with professionalism and courtesy. Highly recommend.

I pay 9.95 monthly for a membership service and I had an emergency with air unit(not working I call on 6/28/2018 they said they can come on 7/30/2018
When I contact this company, Joel S was the sale person that came to my house on 5/28/2018. I bought the new air unit by credit, the total was 7,934. I paid for a membership service for 9.95 monthly which includes same day emergency service. Yesterday the air condition stop working, I call them and they said that they don't have any technician available until next Monday 7/30/2018. When Mr. S came to my house he said that the membership cover any emergency at any time. They promise "best in class service" and that has not happened. This is not the first time that the compressor stop working. On 7/21/2018 I call them because the unit stop working and the response was they can not come until the next day, but that day I reset the thermostat and the unit started working again. They are not fulfilling their promise of better service, the service I should have with the membership that it is call "gold comfort club"

Desired Outcome

I want them to comply with the service they promise me, the service 24/7 same day emergency and since this is not happening they should give me a credit.

To Whom This May Concern,

In receipt of Mr. review, we would like to first start by clarifying one of the benefits included in our Gold Comfort Club membership. Our Place Air & Home Repair does in fact offer "same day emergency service" to all club members; indicating that any comfort club members' needs will be addressed within 24 hours of their request for service.

After careful research, our database and phone records do validate that Mr. first diagnosis request was made on the 25th of July 2018 at 8:11pm EST (as opposed to the claimed request on 7/21/2018.) He was immediately placed onto our schedule to be serviced on July 26th 2018; several hours before the end of our 24 hour time allotment.
This diagnosis was in fact cancelled at 9:53am EST (07/26/2018) by the customer on a confirmation call, being that he was able to reset the thermostat and start unit.

Mr. second diagnosis request was made on the 28th of July 2018 at 9:28pm EST (as opposed to the claimed request on 6/28/2018.) Once more our comfort club member was immediately scheduled, diagnosis was completed on the 29th of July 2018 at 5:36pm EST, the following repair was scheduled within another 24 hour time allotment and completed on the 30th of July 2018.

In the future we will be sure to convey the terms of our same day emergency service to our customers in an understandable timeline. Our Place Air & Home Repair would also like to extend our most sincere apology to Mr. for any inconveniences that he may have encountered and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss rectification further into detail with the customer personally. Danny do a good job cleaning our duct system.

Although I was given a 2 hour time window as to when to expect the tech, after being told twice by Our Place that he was in route it took longer than the 2 hour window for the tech to arrive at my home. The reason for the visit was incorrectly given to the tech after repeated efforts to change it by phone with Our Place. Once the tech was on site he very quickly analyzed the problem and repaired it to my satisfaction and at a reasonable price. Suggest Our Place get a better record keeping system for individual members that can be updated in real time and let the tech (not the office) call the home to update his/her current status so as to not have a member left wondering what is going on. I"m a Platinum Comfort Club member so I was hoping for / expecting better service.

They do what they say. I use them for the maintenance of my air conditioner and they never try to up sell me. My heater wasn't working and with my club membership I paid nothing for a late night call. Thank you Dan and Mike.

they did and outstanding job explain't everything what needs to be done and fix the problem .Will definitely will use them again .
