We apologized to the client for missing thisWe thought this invoice was sent out but it was overlooked.we were contacted by [redacted] as her hot water tank was leaking all over her basementWe were already booked for the daywe call the next three clients and rebooked them so we could take care of [redacted] hot water tank and to get the water leak stoppedinformed client that the hot water replacement would be $that includes hot water tank, all fittings and laborthis was quoted over the phone due to the urgency of the situation and to confirm if we should purchase and pick up a new tank and have it with us when we arrive at her home.as we arrived at her home there was at least inches of water on floorMy wife and I started helping with the water clean up as soon as I shut off the water to the tank to stop the leaking.Clients previous contractor (flooring) covered the floor drain with tile mortarI uncovered floor drain for client so water could drainMy wife continued for two hours to help with the clean up of water and when I was done with installation of new tank, I helped until water was cleaned up.the flooring contractor put something in the drain so mortar would set on topI used my electric drain auger to unblock drain for client.when job was complete, I told her that the total was $and told her it was up to her if she wanted to add any for helping with water clean up, so she added $I did not suggest any price for clean up.Quote was over the phone so I did not charge tax, so the $went to help pay the tax

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. I do not agree with all of the details in the business response; but, overall The job was done very satisfactory.  We will consider case close.

care of [redacted] hot water tank and to get the water leak stopped. informed client that the hot water replacement would be $1000.00 that includes hot water tank, all fittings and labor. this was quoted over the phone due to the urgency of the situation and to confirm if we should purchase and pick up a new tank and have it with us when we arrive at her home.as we arrived at her home there was at least 2 inches of water on floor. My wife and I started helping with the water clean up as soon as I shut off the water to the tank to stop the leaking.Clients previous contractor (flooring) covered the floor drain with tile mortar. I uncovered  floor drain for client so water could drain. My wife continued for two hours to help with the clean up of water and when I was done with installation of new tank, I helped until water was cleaned up.the flooring contractor put something in the drain so mortar would set on top. I used my electric drain auger to unblock drain for client.when job was complete, I told her that the total was $1000.00 and told her it was up to her if she wanted to add any for helping with water clean up, so she added $25.00 I did not suggest any price for clean up.Quote was over the phone so I did not charge tax, so the $25.00 went to help pay the tax.
