7/7/Dear *** ***,I am responding to the complaint ID# ***We did complete the work as indicated in the complaint and *** did pay for that invoiceDue to the wet weather in the Spring we were unable to get our equipment into the area to remove the stumpWhen we
were able to get out to complete the job, we arrived on site and the work was completed by another tree serviceWe had no communication from the customer to indicate that they intended to contact another tree service to complete the work or that the work had been completedOur policy is to complete the work and send out an invoice, which is how this customer was handledWe do apologize for any inconvenience to the customer in regards to the stump removal.After reviewing this situation the owner of the company has agreed to dismiss the charges for the stump that she had removed by another companyI have made notes and attached a copy of her invoice.Should there be any need for additional information please feel free to contact me directly.Sincerely

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that the second option listed (100% business payment) in this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Since we did not know the company would be crossing our property line and did not inform us which date they were coming to do the work, we believe this damage is their responsibility. As requested from the business, attached is a copy of the invoice from [redacted].

6/19/2014Dear Revdex.com,I am responding to the above referenced ID # [redacted].Our standard procedure is that a customer calls our office schedules an estimate. A representative responds to the customer and reviews with them the work that is being requested to be completed. During...

this visit the representative reviews any visible areas of possible danger/damage. If the dangers are not visible we rely on the customer to communicate any known dangers. The estimate is written and the customer can choose to sign contract at that point or wait sign and mail contract at a future date. The date of the work to be completed is not scheduled at that time as there are many variables in our work flow, such as weather. We normally try to call the day prior to inform the customer of our intentions of competing the job the following day.As our representative was not informed of the underground fence it was not noted. We removed 2 trees and the roots were obviously entangled with the fencing wires. The wires were not visible to the ground crew and therefore we were not aware that the wire was severed.**. [redacted] contacted our office very irate, demanding that we come out and get this fixed. We are a very busy company and we are as thorough as possible when it comes to completing job requests without any additional property damage. We discussed the fact that he did not inform us of the underground wire and he did not want todiscuss.I feel it would be more than fair if we paid 50% of the cost of the repairs as we were not informed that the wire was there. However, to avoid a negative report on our business if the customer refuses to take 50% of the responsibility we will reimburse the neighbor upon receipt of the invoice showing the repair has been completed.Please advise of further action.
