boardsI went out of my way to get tools to make temporary repairs to put the set back together so his kids couple still use itWhen he arrived home I informed him what happened and asked what we could do to make it rightI told him I have insurance but insurance wouldn't cover it since I had a $deductible and repair cost would be less than thatHe told me he wanted $cash for a new setI told him if I did that I would be taking the old swing set and my kids would play on itHe wasn't happy about the removal of the old set.The next morning he called and stated he would like me to make a claimI filed the claim and it was a 1/week process for the insurance company to tell him AIt wasn't covered because we didn't smash it and BThat they wouldn't do anything because it was under $There are boards that need to be replacedI told *** that I would have a general contractor come out and replace the boards, power wash,and restain the entire setBy law I am required to repair the damaged property since it's not a total lossI have made several attempts to set up a time to come get the measurements of the boards and he has refused each timeHe is not worried about the swing setHe just wants cash in his pocket and to keep the set as wellEstimate for the repairs from the pics I took are around $I have done everything in my power to get this matter resolved and have been met with disrespect and threats of court if I don't give him $All phone calls with the home owner were recorded and multiple texts where I have made every attempt to resolve this matter have been saved
