Royal Honda will absolutely not pay for any repairs to this vehicle [redacted] knew that the car handle and actuator were broken and attempted to set us up and blame damage on the dealership [redacted] drove her 400,mile car into our store and told us to just get the door open that the handles were broken and she could not get out, she was stuck in the vehicleShe did know already that she needed at least an actuator for the repair After her crawling out of the passenger side we brought the car in the shop to attempt to fix it Yes, Royal had to remove the door inside cover from the inside, with the door closed, and locked, so we had to force the cover up and away from door This procedure did not require us to touch the wiring harness or lock rods Once we opened up the door, it was obvious customer had repeatedly attempted to force the door handle open and had frayed the cable that connects the assembly The rods were also bent from someone trying to force the handles to open It was very obvious that [redacted] being stuck in the car, had attempted to open the door forcefully WE gave her an estimate to perform all the repairs, she immediately said no, she couldn't afford that As a matter of fact she couldn't even pay for the job she asked us to do We had a tech work on her car for two hours, trying to open the car in correct procedure and she gave us a story that she didn't have any money She knew exactly what she was doing Ryan Honda, in Monroe, is giving her an estimate, just like we were, to do the job [redacted] told me she was a service advisor and a salesman at car dealerships, that she knew it all She also stated she does most of the work on her carRoyal Honda stands by our process and we did not damage anything on her vehicle Royal would like [redacted] to pay for the two hours she asked our tech to work on her car

Royal Honda acknowledges that customer has a vehicle with a recall open and will immediately secure the part and make an appointment with *** ***. Royal will discuss any others challenges with *** *** pilot when she come in for airbag

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I know for a FACT my door handle was NOT broken when I brought the vehicle in to the service department I refused to pay $because I knew how much it cost to repair a door actuator....$plus laborA Honda dealership in Monroe,LA has looked at car and told me the door handle was forced open and busted out with a tool of some sortThe metal framing on the door is bent and the rod connecting the door handle is bear to hell and back I also have $in parts missing in my carThese parts are wires and a wiring harness that was ripped out of my door These parts are not supposed to be removedRoyal Honda damaged my ca!!

Royal Honda remains steadfast that they did nothing to change what was already needed on this automobile.  We will not assume responsibility.
