I REALLY DON'T LIKE TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE I'M IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRYMy husband and I went to the [redacted] Rd., [redacted] NC location because it is nearest to where we liveWe did call ahead seating and of course when we got there minutes later our seats were not ready and they had us under the wrong nameWe were seated AT TABLE [redacted] : [redacted] and waited patiently for our waiter to greet us which took awhile but we were enjoying eachothers company [redacted] (hard to make out his last name because he balled our receipt up and put it in the black folder when he dropped off our check), came over and introduced himself and apologized for the wait etc we order waters and our dinnerHe did not service us much after that but we saw him pass by us a plentyI asked for a napkin and my husband asked for sauce to go with his meal selectionHe took so long that we had to ask more than times which seemed to agitate himHe finally brought me, what was a smelly damp black napkin and I refused it and ask for anotherHe had another waitress drop off a clean oneMy husband never got his sauce until his meal was over and that was tossed on the table as [redacted] was going byWhen we received our bill balled up we called for the manager just not sure what had happened because we never raised our voices, we were not rude, we only bothered him [redacted] twice to get sauce and another napkin and he didn't bother with us much eitherThe manager, [redacted] came and was very pleasant, even sat down next to me, we request [redacted] to come over so we could ask him directly what the problem was and why the bill was balled upHe said we didn't look him in his eyes and he found that disrespectful and that he did not ball the check upWhen I asked him did he feel that I was lying he responded in front of THE MANAGER " [redacted] "My husband and I couldn't believe it and [redacted] (manager) was visibly shaken by his comment as wellShe immediately apologized as he ran off right out of the restaurantShe comped the meal of course and gave us coupons for our next visitI was so shaken up by the event AND WONDERED how we would return to OUTBACKShe guaranteed us because of [redacted] behavior he would be terminated immediately and welcomed us back to a place that we eat most frequentlyI have receipts to prove itThis incident happened on 11/12/we RETURNED to this LOCATION on 11/2*/to find that [redacted] was still there as a waiter in the same section which I did not want to be placed inI was very uncomfortable and my husband and I could not believe it!!!! My husband called for the manager and explained the recent incident and how we only came there because this was the most convenient location and the ONLY LOCATION in [redacted] and we were not going to be uncomfortable in our community but would not return after this visit

Overcharged along with ordered food incorrectly plated to each party.I visit NC the weekend of Valentines. A party of four decided to go to Outback Steakhouse after church. Unfortunately, my best friend was not satisfied with her food. Her and another friend ordered steak dinners. When the orders came out my best friend had everything that the other friend was supposed to get on her plate. When it was all said and done. I surprised my best friend by taking her bill and paying it. The waitress was informed about everything and the manager adjusted the bill. When I returned back to Virginia and was snowed in for a few days, I looked at my receipts and noticed that I was overcharged and that the waitress did not keep the discount from the adjusted bill. Instead I was charged for two full meals. I emailed the restaurant on February 21st and received a call from the managers on February 24, 2015. Who assured me that I would get the adjustment done to my card along with alittle more for the inconvience. Needless to say, I have not received either! Also, on February 26th another manager called me around 8pm to see if I had spoken to someone. I let her know I did. She too, stated that I would be refunded and receive a gift card as well in the mail. I have not heard from Outback anymore! This is poor service at the highest. I know we will not be dinning their anymore and yes I know a lot of people at [redacted] as well as other places. I will highly recommend that they go somewhere else for service and food. This is unacceptable!Desired SettlementI want an apology, refund and gift card like stated. I was told that they will communicate with the waitress and chef about making sure orders are plated as requested. There was not any special request but, apparently communication was a key factor.
