Let me start by writing that I have been in business with my own website that I built from scratch that worked very well for years Being somewhat small, I only wanted to upgrade to a larger site, with product feeds I have my own site, merchant service, etcbut to go with them, I had to use THEIR recommendation for merchant services, and everything else was set up by THEM My experiences were very disappointing Not only did our sales drop dramatically from the time we signed on with this business with the SAME url or direction, (from around sales per year, to about 15) but we experienced numerous glitches with their website, many small fixes that seemed to happen more often than not However, for the small fixes they did well to fix most of them The somewhat more frustrating problems of products miraculously being changed to $0.00, or turned off completely Many problems lasted months for them to fix, and some never were fixed unless I did more work to go in one by one and give them the ill working products The last straw was when for months we received our usual email showing an order was placed and paid for with a credit card, the online site showing there was an order, only to ship the product out and discover that it had never been funded to our bank account Of course, as is usual with OBN, they put the blame on their customer, so that this was somehow our fault Site was working for months, then stopped depositing funds for months, then started working again I guess that is the only positive about having a very small amount of sales, not too much was given away for free, although because item was $alone, we did lose over $ Also, this was probably our busiest in sales with sales in months! They not only accept NO responsibility, they would not even let us cancel without charging us their cancellation fee (They are providing NO service, yet they charged us.) In the meantime, our products were still shutting off all on their own! We had months left on our contract but it is worth the $1k fee to not work with this company again They did not even try to work with us at all or even offer us the months that the website was not working properly and giving away free products at no cost, which would've been the very least they could've done! Still not sure how they can charge me to cancel a website that is not running the way it should be After reading other reviews and complaints we are not taking the chance that they will bill us after we cancel or retaliate for a bad review and keep charging our credit card, we are cancelling our credit card just to make sure that we have no further headaches with this company, we've had enough already! They somehow have a "get away with anything" contract in which they can do whatever they want and basically say, oh well Hopefully others can learn from our experience and not make the mistake we did of signing on with this company, a $loss

After being less than satisfied with the performance of our ecommerce we decided to move on We left Outdoor Business Network (OBN) with written notice via email in January, We let them continue to assist with one of our static web sites for two years When we realized that they never lowered our rates to a non-shopping cart site we asked them to do so They replied saying that we never gave them written notice and they continued billing us We disputed the charges on our c/c They continued to vigorously attempt to charge us for services they were no longer providing After a settlement with our c/c case in our favor - OBN then pulled an Un-Authorized withdrawal from our business checking account! We fought and won this case also OBN seems to be desperate and is pushing the envelope towards unscrupulous business practices

We had a great experience with Outdoor Business Network. They designed the website for our event, and provided marketing and technical consultation. Not only was the product they delivered outstanding, it was also completed within our extremely tight time requirements. In our reviews we want to mention that the staff was extremely accessible and helpful. At all times the professionals at OBN went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were well represented with a beautiful website. They even made some great recommendations that we would have otherwise not thought of. There was a slight learning curve required on our side, but once we took the time to figure out how things work, we can now easily and quickly make changes and add content to our website.

However, for the small fixes they did well to fix most of them. The somewhat more frustrating problems of products miraculously being changed to $0.00, or turned off completely. Many problems lasted months for them to fix, and some never were fixed unless I did more work to go in one by one and give them the ill working products. The last straw was when for 2 months we received our usual email showing an order was placed and paid for with a credit card, the online site showing there was an order, only to ship the product out and discover that it had never been funded to our bank account. Of course, as is usual with OBN, they put the blame on their customer, so that this was somehow our fault. Site was working for months, then stopped depositing funds for 2 months, then started working again. I guess that is the only positive about having a very small amount of sales, not too much was given away for free, although because 1 item was $1200 alone, we did lose over $1700. Also, this was probably our busiest in sales with 6 sales in 2 months! They not only accept NO responsibility, they would not even let us cancel without charging us their cancellation fee. (They are providing NO service, yet they charged us.) In the meantime, our products were still shutting off all on their own! We had 10 months left on our contract but it is worth the $1k fee to not work with this company again. They did not even try to work with us at all or even offer us the 2 months that the website was not working properly and giving away free products at no cost, which would've been the very least they could've done! Still not sure how they can charge me to cancel a website that is not running the way it should be. After reading other reviews and complaints we are not taking the chance that they will bill us after we cancel or retaliate for a bad review and keep charging our credit card, we are cancelling our credit card just to make sure that we have no further headaches with this company, we've had enough already! They somehow have a "get away with anything" contract in which they can do whatever they want and basically say, oh well. Hopefully others can learn from our experience and not make the mistake we did of signing on with this company, a $7500 loss.
