Review: I purchased a Mahindra 2816 tractor from Outdoor Country 2 years ago. The tractor is still under warranty. I took it to Outdoor Country for repair on 4-22-2013. Robert refused to fix it--stated Mahindra owed him $20,000 and he was not going to fix the tractor.Desired Settlement: I would like my tractor to be repaired in a timely manner.

Response:
We are sorry to find out that mr.[redacted] feels that we have let him down in any way. The last day mr [redacted] and I talked he was taking his tractor to another dealer because he was needing the tractor fixed faster than what we could get it fixed. The mahindra service rep came by while his tractor was on my lot, he looked at the tractor and said that it would not be covered under warranty for mr. [redacted]. Since mr. [redacted] and I have talked, mahindra has still not paid me for the last 6 months of warranty repairs totaling around $21,000. We apologize for any misunderstanding. Outdoor country is a independant dealer and is only a dealer for Mahindra tractors. We are not the manufacturer, only a agent for the company. We don't mind fixing tractor for Mr. [redacted], but according to Mahindra they will not pay for the repair under warranty, so he will have to pay. Mr. [redacted] wants tractor repaired free, but Mahindra won't cover his repair under warranty. Mr. [redacted] problem isn't with me it is actually with Mahindra, the tractor manufacturer. Thank you [redacted]

Response:
Mr [redacted]l's (Outdoor Country) reply is not true. There was no misunderstanding either. At no time did he say he would repair the tractor. The tractor had been on his lot approximately 3 weeks. He did not bother to call me to explain anything...my tractor was allowed to just sit on his lot and if I never inquired about, it probably would still be there. He told me that he had not even looked at the tractor and was not going to because Mahindra has not paid him for past repairs. He also told me to take it somewhere else. This tractor has been in for repair several times. I think maybe it is a lemon. [redacted] problems with Mahindra should not be my problem. He sold me the tractor and received his money...now he does not want to stand behind his product that he sold to me. [redacted]
