We met OCD at the STL Home Show We booked an appointment, they showed up when they said, quickly gave us an estimate and we contracted them to do the work When they came to do the work the people that came to my house couldn't have been nicer In the middle of the project (it was paving a new sidewalk) my wife and I became concerned about the colors and asked if we could look at different stone They encouraged us to look at other options and told us for the first time, "we will do whatever we need to do to make sure you are happy" We looked at other stone, grew confused and decided to trust their judgement We were right to trust them because it turned out great, even better than we expectedEven after they finished they came back and pointed out some things they didn't think were "perfect" and told us they would replace them and fix They hooked up all of my landscape lighting and my sprinkler system and made sure it all worked perfectly Throughout the project they continually asked if we were satisfied and repeated they would do whatever necessary to make sure we were One day they showed up a couple of weeks after they were finished because they had determined the angle from my front door to the sidewalk MAY not be right and could cause water problems We had not had a problem or even noticed it but they reworked it so it would never happen Let me add, we had another estimate from another company that was 33% higher than OCD We have since contracted them to replace all of our landscaping in our front yard I have NEVER worked with a company that is so customer oriented I have also never written a review on a company I have told at least of my friends of this experience I just wish all contractors had the customer service of O.C.D I know this review is so good it almost sounds fake but I assure you this is our actual experience I will update it after the landscaping is complete

available productWe have documentation from a supplier confirming that as well as email confirmation from Mr*** approving the stone type that was recommended
From our previous experience working with Mr*** we knew that he was very particular - as is his absolute right as a clientOur hardscape crew is quite experienced in retaining wall installation and followed proper protocolOur crew members are respectful of our clients and it is quite surprising to hear that any of our crew members would tell a client that they were annoyed by questioning
Because of weather delays and Mr***'s scheduling requirements, we completed the project the week of 8/After completion, Mr*** requested a meeting with *** (OCD Owner) to discuss his concerns regarding the installation*** and another co-owner, *** met with Mr*** 8/to address his concerns and agreed that the wall did not meet up perfectly with a neighboring wall and at that time offered suggestions and options*** and Todd were told by Mr*** that he and Mrs*** "decided to let it go" and concluded the meeting with a handshake and agreed that all was OKMr*** then promptly paid his remaining balance and requested to be scheduled for future landscaping work at his residenceDuring this time Mr*** was also coordinating work for the neighborhood in which he resides
We did not hear from Mr*** regarding the wall until after starting the neighborhood project 9/During the project in which we were employed by the Homeowner's Association / Management company, not Mr***, issues arose that we were informed resulted in Mr*** being relieved of his duties overseeing such projects for the Association, as well as being asked by the management company to file written documentation of interaction with Mr***At that time Mr*** revisited his concerns regarding the wall installation which, to the best of our knowledge, had been resolved during the meeting a month prior and had been paid in full
We are happy to provide copies of email and voice messages in regards to the availability of the specific stone as well as communication with Mr*** regarding all aspects of the various projects we have worked on with him and the neighborhood association
We are happy to answer any other questions and look forward to resolution

I wish I had seen the words BEWARE or BE FORWARNED as to the quality of work to be performed by Outdoor Creative Design (hereafter referred to as OCD)In my opinion, the PROOF of a company described with words like 'customer satisfaction', 'integrity' and 'honesty' is in the delivered productRegardless of the mismatched stone, the wall is still 2" lower (11" was the prescribed height - an 18% error)than prescribed and out of level on the one end
This matter is FAR FROM BEING RESOLVEDIn addition, most of the comments in OCD's response to my complaint are totally irrelevant to this wall that is not installed in a 'professional workmanlike manner' - to which I am entitledSince the owners word and handshake promising me to make this right is not sincere, and has not come to fruition - the only feasible 'resolution' that OCD alludes to be "look(ing) forward to" per their response is a refund of $1,so that I can proceed to contract with a reputable contractor to reconstruct the one end that is out of level and add a 2" cap across the top to raise the height to the original prescribed height
