FACT #1...Roof was not leaking inside garage when he was hiredIt should not matter what condition the roof was inHe was hired to install a roofIf he did everything he he says he did in his response, then there's no reason for it to leak unless he's not that great of a roofer or his workers aren'tHe should not criticize condition of roof FACT #2...I saw everything they did from my bedroom windowPlywood was used on edges of garageWhen that was completed, they rolled out black material which was either nailed or stapled on the roofThe only thing I wasn't there for was when they used the torchI was at work that day FACT #3...He never mentioned that he came out with another contractorHe would come out with someone, but never said who that person wasI assumed it was one of his workersI would like to know who the contractor was FACT #4...He mentions that he fixed siding on upper levelI don't know exactly what he's talking aboutThe garage has no upper levelI do know that he did a tacky job on the siding, downspouts, and trim FACT #5...Everytime he came out, I showed him where the leak was inside the garage (never the same spot)He did see the leakI asked if I needed to be home when he came back out and he said no, because he know where the leak wasSo, if he says he's been out and poured buckets of water and there's no leak, how would he know there's no leak if he isn't inside the garage to see? He always leaves a card saying "should be ok"Well, it's not! I called him on March 4th, and again on April 9th, He has neither returned my calls nor come outDoes that sound professional? On October 11th, will be four years since the roof was installed FACT #6...Warranty will be up on October 11th, I paid him in full on October 11th, Warranty period is as follows: 08/11/to 08/11/year 08/11/to 08/11/years 08/11/to 08/11/years 08/11/to 08/11/years 08/11/to 08/11/years Warranty is guaranteed for years as indicated in proposal Aside from all of this, I am appalled by the lack of professionalism displayed in his responseThe response was not on official business letterhead, it was hand written, there were words that I could not decipher, grammar was poor, spelling was poor, letter formation was poor and capitalization/punctuation was poorIs this a reflection of the business?
