Thank you for your phone call this morning regarding ***’s claim of us doing damage to his vehicle I’ve attached pictures than my employee took while he and [redacted] where out standing by the car According to my employee, [redacted] came outside and went over to our company truck likely to get our phone number off of our logo He then walked over to his own vehicle and my employee approached him According to my employee, that is when [redacted] accused my employee of the scratches present on his vehicle and was degrading to my employee My employee then took the pictures in ***’s presence At that time, my employee doesn’t recall seeing any dents because his attention was on the scratched areas [redacted] was accusing of us doing My employee did admit of being aggravated by ***’s accusations of us doing the damage because he (my employee) knew we had not done it We finished up our maintenance service at Elmar condominiums and left to our next site and [redacted] had not left The picture with the scratch towards the lower portion of the car is a white paint line which would not have occurred with our edger (our edger is green), not to mention that his car is several feet away from the curb and we were going parallel to his vehicle, so debris/rocks wouldn’t have been directed towards his vehicle The other pictures are of scratches in another locations several feet away from the lower white paint mark We have in the past broken windows with small rocks and we have taken responsibility for it, but the damage [redacted] is claiming we did was not done by Outdoor Escapes, LLC Again, his car was parked in an area where we were going parallel to his vehicle and no debris/rocks would have been directed towards his vehicle As for the scratches several feet apart from each other and at various elevations, this is evidence that it was not done by us Thank you, and please feel free to call me or e-mail me with any further questions Troy J [redacted] Landscape Architect Outdoor Escapes, LLC ***@oescapes.com www.oescapes.com [redacted] 360-802-Office

Thank you for your phone call this morning regarding [redacted]’s claim of us doing damage to his vehicle.

I’ve attached pictures than my employee took while he and [redacted] where out standing by the car.

According to my employee, [redacted] came outside and went over to our company truck likely to get our phone number off of our logo.  He then walked over to his own vehicle and my employee approached him.  According to my employee, that is when [redacted] accused my employee of the scratches present on his vehicle and was degrading to my employee.  My employee then took the 3 pictures in [redacted]’s presence.  At that time, my employee doesn’t recall seeing any dents because his attention was on the 3 scratched areas [redacted] was accusing of us doing.  My employee did admit of being aggravated by [redacted]’s accusations of us doing the damage because he (my employee) knew we had not done it.  We finished up our maintenance service at Elmar condominiums and left to our next site and [redacted] had not left.

The picture with the scratch towards the lower portion of the car is a white paint line which would not have occurred with our edger (our edger is green), not to mention that his car is several feet away from the curb and we were going parallel to his vehicle, so debris/rocks wouldn’t have been directed towards his vehicle.  The other pictures are of scratches in another locations several feet away from the lower white paint mark.

We have in the past broken windows with small rocks and we have taken responsibility for it, but the damage [redacted] is claiming we did was not done by Outdoor Escapes, LLC.  Again, his car was parked in an area where we were going parallel to his vehicle and no debris/rocks would have been directed towards his vehicle.  As for the scratches several feet apart from each other and at various elevations, this is evidence that it was not done by us.

Thank you, and please feel free to call me or e-mail me with any further questions.

[redacted]PHOTOS ATTACHED[redacted]
I came outside and took the first photo roughly around 830 am, where I was merely documenting all the scratches on my car facing where the landscape crew trims the grass along the curb.
I keep a watchful eye on my car daily and know the mileage by heart. A large dent appeared on my car shortly after the assailant (employee) saw me leave my house with my family. My girlfriend can attest to the lawn crew witness my family leave. When I returned home, I snapped a picture of the same side where it was previously scratched by rocks. I throughly compared the photo from the 830 am photo to the photo I took shortly after coming home with my family and it is quite obvious what happened. I filed a police report against the company for vandalism. There is a communication barrier between the company, "outdoor escapes". I am worried about the large dent in my car created by a distraught employee who took his anger out on my car. I would not have filed a report or pursued this case so much if it wasn't for the revenge the employee placed into my car. Again, not worried about the scratches from the machine.. I'm worried about a crazy employee creating large fist size dents in my collectors vehicle. The large indentation is very clearly visible below my passenger door handle. I am estimating it will cost me over 100$ to repair due to the fact that it is a collector car and the time it will take to fix the damages to this rare vehicle. Sent from my iPhone

We talked to the Home Owners Association lady.  We sent an employee out to take pictures.  There appears to be white paint.  We worked parallel to the car with the sidewalk.  We did obtain the employee side of the story.  We reprimanded that employee.  The customer who...

came outside and spoke with the employee was talking down to them.  The damage is something we did not do.  If it was, we would have no problem going through insurance.  Based on the pictures, this is not damage we created.  The car was parked on the street.  In the future, the employee has been instructed to go knock on the door, stating that we will be edging, would you like to move your car to a safer place.  The car was parked on the road and we worked one to two feet away.
