Outdoor Homescapes of Houston, L.L.C. Reviews (6)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
I am not interested in closing this complaint until all work has been completed to our satisfaction As of this date, the outdoor living area is in progress to be completed but two months beyond the latest promise In addition, we were asked to pay an additional $to the subcontractor for ***'s miscalculation of the overlay area on the original bidWe continue to feel held hostage in order to get this completed We also paid for the additional stone for our post, and fire pit area I'm sure we will not be reimbursed for that expense either
Regards,
*** ***

Hello, Thank you for the response I believe the original filing of the complaint had the same posting from you“There is nothing to do with this complaint right now.” If there was something to answer I would of answered it as I always have Never the less here is my response
“We have completed the outdoor kitchen part of the project although there is a small list of warranty and finish items to complete The outdoor kitchen has been a full functioning kitchen for months The French door installation to the master bedroom has been completedStone has been installed around the door and finish work in the bedroom completed The overlay for the new patio has been scheduled with the subcontractorThe client has been in communication with the installer for an install date. The weather has the installer behind schedule After the overlay is completed the fire pit will have stone installed around itThe project will then be finished The client has postponed several install dates because of their schedule during the beginning of the projectThe client had a pool leak that had to be fixed after we started the projectThis held us up in the beginning and got us off to a poor startThe project is now 90% completed” Thanks Again & Best Regards, *** ** *** Professional Designer/Owner

My Response:
The client
has not brought the $892 additional work charge to my attention until now.
I believe the
extra charge is due to the fact that **. [redacted] had my sub-contractor remove some
concrete where he had an existing pool leak. We helped him trouble shoot the
pool leak and pour new concrete that we never charged him for. The $892 most
likely is for the stamped overlay of this new concrete that was not part of our
agreement.
The client
paid $200 for stone to go around the new French door that was installed. The
original contract had brick. We will refund the $200 to settle part of the
dispute. The overlay of the concrete is now complete and the client has
approved the work. The next step is to get stone around the fire pit. The stone
around the fire pit was scheduled earlier but the client decided to have the
overlay done first which is not standard, but what the client wanted.
The stone and
project should be completed in the month of [redacted]

Good Morning,
Thank you for your reply.
My complaint is not all about collections.
Mr. Netto claims to be an engineer and owed us drawings of the oven which we never received. This...

is more important to me than the money he owes us because we were not able to build the oven in a timely fashion because he didn’t furnish us drawings per our agreement.
He owes us drawings to complete the oven.
I also doubt his claim that he is an engineer. I’ve done many projects for engineers and they always have the ability to furnish us drawings.
I also did not hear back from you about my question regarding his complaint  #10837347. I do not see any attachments in the complaint that suggest I told the client I have an A Revdex.com rating.
I look forward to your reply.

Best Regards,

Mr Netto wrote: "As soon as we receive a certified check of $2,900.00 (fan, labor and parts)  and the certified letter mentioned above, we will issue a certified check for the sum of $3,383.60."
Mr. Netto previously wrote that he would pay for the exhaust fan. To settle the issue will will absorb the cost of the fan. Based on his statement above my company is owed $483.60.
The lien has not been filed with the court as of yet.   The last issue would be for Mr. Netto to send us a check for $483.60.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.
We will mail a certified check to Outdoor Homescapes of Houston, L.L.C. 12802 Highland Hills Lane, Cypress,  TX 77429for the amount of $483.60 tomorrow, Monday November 2nd.
No lien will be placed on [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]
