We had a customized lighting system installed by Outdoor Lighting Perspectives (OLP)(Lemont, IL)We were pleased with the initial installation, however, the way the company makes its money is by aggressively selling replacement bulbs and maintenance services at exorbitant pricesI was able to source the exact same bulbs online for easily a tenth of what OLP wanted to charge meReplacing a light bulb is not rocket science, and while it may be the ultimate convenience to have someone else do it for you, I was perfectly capable of doing it myselfAfter a few years of doing things myself, I wanted to make some alterations to my system and called OLP to have them come out to make these changesThe ensuing discussion was all centered on getting me to sign an annual bulb maintenance planThe local representative was condescending and rude and was ONLY focused on getting me to join the annual lightbulb maintenance planWhile the initial product and installation is good with this group, the follsupport and service is ridiculously over-priced and centered solely on locking customers into long-term maintenance plans
