Outdoor Living Brands, Inc Reviews (1)

Review: Archadeck of Tarrant County (under the Outdoor Living Brands, Inc. umbrella) constructed a sunroom for us in 2010. The most recent issue is that the seals in the Alenco doors and windows used in the sunroom have failed resulting in unclear/cloudy visibility. Archadeck of Tarrant County is no longer in business. July 25, 2015 I wrote to The National Guarantee Corporation P O Box 8506 Richmond, VA 23226, to enforce their warranty. Since they did not responded. I contacted Outdoor Living Brands, originally Mr. Ed R[redacted] who did not respond, next to their VP Rob H[redacted]. Mr. H[redacted] was working towards a resolution with Alenco. I called for a status, September 25, 2015, and found Mr. H[redacted] was no longer with the company. I have made two attempts to get a response from Mr. R[redacted], with no success.

Since I have pursued all avenues logically available, I am hoping a Revdex.com Complaint will effect a resolution to the situation.

As info, there have been several problems with this construction; this is only the most recent so the timeline on the subsequent form starts with the first issue when our troubles first began.Desired Settlement: Defective sliding doors and windows should be replaced with matching doors and windows with any necessary finishing work to match the existing structure. Thank you for you help.

Response:

My name is Spencer M[redacted] and I have been working with Mr. [redacted] to get this issue resolved. I appears to me that this is a manufacturer defect. Unfortunately, Alenco windows have gone out of business and were bought by PlyGem windows. I contacted the original supplier of the windows and door in Texas. I spoke with [redacted] at [redacted] ([redacted]) on 10/27/15. He told me that he would send someone out to the [redacted] residence to inspect the failing windows and door. Although the windows and door were installed by Archadeck of Tarrant County, this is a manufacturer issue. Alenco windows has a 10 year limited warranty that should be covered by PlyGem.
