Outdoor Paradise Landscaping

My husband and I decided it was time to do our backyard, we have called multiple landscapers to come out and check out our backyard and give us estimates. We called this company and I set an appointment with Mike to come out and give us an estimate. We set up a time for 5pm and he showed up exactly at the time we had set. He brought all his materials with us and even pictures of his previous work he has done. I immediately liked him and regardless of the estimate that he was going to give us, I was planning to hire him. He measured our backyard and told us that the next day he would send us an estimate and tell us in details what everything was going to cost. I text him on Friday around 4 to ask him if he had come up with the estimate, he text back saying "no but I will have it done by tonight. It is now Tuesday and I've had not response. I called and left him a message and he never called back. I understand that he is busy and probably has a lot of work to do but I would at least expect a follow up call. I am not sure if its because my husband and I are young. I am truly disappointed in him and from all the reviews that I saw online I expected better.

[redacted] and his crew are wonderful. They took our plain dirt back yard and transformed it into a relaxing, clean outdoor 'room' to enjoy! The pavers that made the patio extension are so stunning and to us a better choice than the concrete we were going to have laid. The plants he choose for us are great too. We have already recommended him to our neighbors.

I had an excellent experience with Michael D[redacted] and Outdoor Paradise Landscaping. The quality of his work and his work ethic is so outstanding that is was difficult to get him. He is very busy and works daily with his crew. This allows him to insure the quality of work and can make needed adjustments daily. He is meticulous about stone cuts, grading, and will make sure your yard looks perfect before he leaves the job. Even if there are areas that need attention outside the scope of his contract, he will do repairs before leaving your home.

I do understand the one negative review as I agree that there were sometimes gaps in his communication. I had a better understanding of why once they started working on my job. They start early and work late and he doesn't stop for phone calls. That means he needs to find the time to respond to everyone in the evenings and still find time for family. A balancing act for sure but he did the best he could. When he's on your job, you have all of his attention and he doesn't leave to go to other jobs until your job is completed to your satisfaction. It is a small company so Michael finds time to meet with new clients, create designs, write up contracts, and still work all day with his crew.

If you want quality work, I would highly recommend Michael and his company. I have worked with many different contractors over the years and I have not worked with anyone as detail oriented, competent, knowledgeable and will leave your yard looking better than you could have imagined.

I contacted [redacted] to come and give me an estimate and assist me in the design for my front yard. He came to our house after working all day on another job and I could tell he was tired. However, he was very attentive to my description of what I wanted. I told [redacted] that I would trust whatever design he came up with. A few days later, he emailed me a copy of a plan that he had put together. The plan literally was an exact image of what I had envisioned in my head so I could not be happier. I immediately told [redacted] that I wanted to move ahead with the project. He had an opening to start the job the following week and he began work promptly that Monday morning at 6:30 am!!!

He and his brother in law worked literally 10 - 12 hours a day on my yard and never took a break! I offered them water and even the use of my home for rest time if needed, but both [redacted] and [redacted] said that they preferred to work straight through. I was VERY impressed by their work ethic and the overall work quality that was provided.

They just completed my project last night and don't mind telling you, that I am more than happy with the final results. Like I said earlier, the plan that [redacted] came up with was exactly what I had envisioned... and the final result was even better!!! I told [redacted] it was like he crawled inside my head and drew out the image of what I was looking for.

I cannot recommend [redacted] enough to you!!! My project had many facets to it and even required masonry work to build a courtyard wall. I would have had to hire multiple contractors to do what [redacted] did all by himself! If you hire [redacted]... YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY!!!
