Company built a mailbox and was paid in full out of stone. The mailbox was unsatisfactory. The owner agreed to tear down and replace it 48 days ago.Owner company built a mailbox that was not what was requested. Owner agreed and promised to tear down and rebuild from August 23rd. 48 days later it is still not done. It is only partially built. Owner makes promises via texting that are always unfilled. Owner refuses to respond via telephone or in person to customer. Here is chronology of events.August 23rd - Mailbox finished and you were paid in full (should be noted the check was cashed within one hour of getting it)August 25th - You and I did talk based on my phone call and you stated you drive by and looked at it. You agreed it was not what we ordered and you would replace it. You stated "you must give me a few days" due to other jobs. I said that I understand and waited patiently.Sept 5th - 11 days after my phone call to you and never hearing back from you, I called and texted you asking for update since 11 days was more than a "few days". You TEXTED me back stating that you would come out the following Mon and Tue (9/9 or 9/10)Sept 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 - no one ever showed or calledSept 13th - I called and texted you again with no response on eitherSept 15th - (Sunday) You text me that you will be out "early" in the week to do the jobSept 18th - (Wed) Your brother and crews come and knock down mailbox and leave total mess in yard and street. Left the rocks and junk in the road which was dangerous for cars, kids, and others.Sept 19, 20, 21, 22 - left mess there with no further workSept 23rd - I called you again and texted you with no response.Sept 24th - Your brother and crew arrive to clean mess and repair sprinkler. However, no work on new mailbox.Sept 25th-26th - no work doneSept 26-27th - I send you multiple phone calls, messages and text with no response.Sept 28th - You text me stating you were in "meetings" and that you would ensure the mailbox would be built on Monday, Sept 30th. Again, you never even bother to pick up the phone to call.Sept 30th - Monday - no one shows up, no calls, no textOct 1st - Tuesday - crew shows up with blocks, sands and puts part of the structure and leaves. Again, left mess on street, sidewalk. Also, left our hose with spray handle lying in driveway, so it was run over. Oct 2, 3, 4 - no more work, no call, no textOct 4th - Wife runs into your brother at a stop light and confronts him and he states "it will be done on Saturday"Oct 5, 6, 7, 8 - no work, no call, no textDesired SettlementTo complete the mailbox that is partially done in our front yard immediately to the agreed specifications that we have discussed. To clean up the yard and street including any damage to sod, sprinklers or other areas. Business Response The mailbox was finished on Oct. 9th. I agreed with the customer that the mailbox was rather large and explained to him that it would be a few weeks til we could tear the mailbox down and rebuild it from scratch. I could have said well heres your mailbox, but I tried to make the customer happy by offering to completely redo it. I lost 600.00 in this process. I took pictures of the new mailbox this morning and it is beautiful. So as far as I'm concerned this complaint is unwarranted! Thank you
