Dear Revdex.com,Regarding the email that was sent to me on 5/11/by the Revdex.com stating that my complaint case was closed due to no response from me for the email the Revdex.com supposedly sent to me on 5/3/2017, I did not receive any email from the Revdex.com on 5/3/ I can not respond to an email I did not receiveI did view the message that should have been emailed on your website with Sundrop Solar's response and Revdex.com's request to respond, but only after being prompted to visit your web site after the factSo to update the situation, SunDrop Solar has not contacted me like they said they would in their response to you, and I can pretty much guarantee you that they will notThe last communication I had with them was in September of when they said they would replace the solar panels within two weeks and pay my *** August electric bill Unanswered emails and phone calls since then prompted me to contact the Revdex.comNow, with the Revdex.com closing the complaint erroneously, Sundrop Solar is free to continue their bad business practices with no consequences. Sincerely, *** ***

Complaint ID: *** Name : *** * ***Mr *** signed a contract with Sundrop Solar on June 8, for a purchase of a kW solar system and energy management system.Per Mr ***’s complaint, he states there were multiple problems; poor design, HOA delays (there is none), finance
error, wrong solar panels, panels not tilted, conduit clearance, customer service.Sundrop Solar designed Mr ***’s system to not only produce the expected results but to look appealing aestheticallyThe initial design showed the system in a ‘square’ where of his were near his chimneyHe preferred to have the array extend along the top of his home by moving the panels from the chimney area to the top and leaving the remaining panels were they were originally designedSundrop Solar always gives a copy of the plans to the homeowner for approval prior to installationAs stated, Sundrop designed the system according to the vast majority of installs and per our customer’s decisionsThe decrease in assumed production would have been minimal for Mr ***’s homeWanting to change the design was not an issue and taken care ofMr *** emailed Sundrop on July 18, approving the new plans and apologized for the delay in sendingThat he wasn’t aware he had to notify anyone of an approvalThe HOA issue may have been a misunderstanding but very standard with the majority of solar installations since HOA documentation is submitted by Sundrop Solar on behalf of the customerThe finance error was an accounting issue and was immediately resolved with Mr ***Mr *** was contacted on August 10, and asked how he would like to proceed and he agreed to moving up his install dateMr *** was installed on August 13, The Purchase Agreement states Mr *** would have watt solar panels installed on his home (panels )Sundrop Solar was in transition of increasing system sizing and Mr *** should have had watt panels installedPanel brand, as long as tier one, are of little differencePanel wattage does matterSundrop will look into if and why Mr *** received a less than watt panel and if so will replace accordinglySundrop always installs the system size agreed upon or larger and always uses tier one manufacturesThe placement of the panels being ‘tilted’ were never specified on purchase agreement or on plans Mr *** approvedWith the plot of his home and the direction Mr ***’s roof faces, the overall production value will be much better as they are installed (flat) than they would have been tiltedThe electrical conduit location and clearance was the installers choice for the homeowner to keep it less visible from the groundIt is code to have a clearance based on were the conduit run isAlthough I am not certain were the conduit run was exactly located on Mr ***’s home, I am certain if there was an error, it was corrected immediatelyRegarding customer service, Sundrop works diligently to be accessible to all our customersWe continually strive to improve our customer relationsInstalling solar can be a long process and keeping our homeowners informed along the way is a key stepAlthough we show well over documented correspondence with Mr ***, we apologize if we did not meet the expectation.Sundrop will complete a site evaluation on Mr ***s home and verify system is working properly and proper system is installedSundrop will contact Mr *** and make arrangements and satisfy any other concerns he may have.Mike B*** General Manager Sundrop Solar LLC

The nature of the complaint is delivery issuesSunDrop could not deliver in days, days or daysThe contract was for days and the verbal promise was for daysThe communication from SunDrop Solar was appallingRarely did they return messages and I never could get a plan or schedule for the project. I did get a call from MrB*** on Jan16, 2017; he informed me that he could have the install team here on Jan27, I told him I was concerned about the TEP permit expiring before getting hooked into their system and wanted to know about an extension before committing to the installationHe said he would check with the electric company in the morning and call me back before noonI received no further communication from SunDrop Solar until the morning of Janfrom the installation teamThey said they had left Phoenix and were on their way to start the installationI told them they should turn around because I hadn’t heard from MrB*** on the permit extension. They arrived at my house an hour and a half laterI told them I hadn’t heard from MrB*** and that they would have to leaveAt that point Mr, B*** calledHe said the permit wouldn’t be a problem but couldn’t tell me the schedule to extend the permit, perform the installation, get the county to perform the inspection and get the electric company to hook the system to the power network. MrB*** has failed to address the desired settlement of the complaint which was to have the “solar system installation and hoto the electric company by Feb8, “ Installation on Jan27, does not mean that it is hookto the electric company (it recently took three weeks to do this), and he did not provide a path to get there

While what Mr B*** writes is true he has left out everything after our conversation. We have talked and texted numerous times since the meeting he wrote about with no resolution. Iris at ***USA keeps telling me that they have not been refunded on dime, and that Mr B*** is difficult if not impossible to contact. I don't know why it takes so long to make a simple electronic transfer, when the one that went to Sundrop took less than twenty four business hours. To this date, to the best of my knowledge Sundrop Solar still has almost seventeen thousands dollars that doesn't belong to them. I will not be satisfied until every dime is refunded, and this debt is removed from over my, and my families, heads!

Being an [redacted] customer we would never tell a homeowner we could cover a guaranteed percentage of an electric bill since [redacted] rates are based on their new Demand fee which is completely in the control of the homeowner.  The system size that was recommended for the [redacted] is based on the...

information the [redacted] provided during their initial appointment.  You will see (per attached) we recommended (and installed) a very modest 3.18 kW system along with upgraded insulation for the homes attic.  During the initial meeting the [redacted] wanted their old solar thermal pool heating system removed from their roof (was not operational) and a new electric pool heater installed.   The billing dollar amount the [redacted] claimed that was told is not what [redacted] bills at.  Homeowners are thoroughly explained [redacted]'s new solar billing plan (E-27) what their on and off peaks rates are and the importance of the demand fees and times. We would be glad to discuss with the [redacted] exactly how [redacted] bills.  The demand meter the [redacted] speak of is to assist the homeowner in controlling their demand usage. The demand level is completely controlled by the [redacted] and not only was a walk through provided but we offer a video online not to mention they can call our office and get assistance at any time.  The pool heater has been scheduled to be installed multiple times.  The first two times when a contractor went to the home, they were not allowed access to the yard (either by the homeowners or no gate access, locked).    We show correspondence with the [redacted] as early as 7/28/17 working to schedule another appointment to have the pool company go out and start the pool heater project.  We hope that the [redacted] assist in working with scheduling to complete the last portion of their project as well as set an appointment to have a representative speak with them in person regarding their electric bills
