On 9/9/2019, *** painted my hall bathroom and stair well. On 9/10/2019, he was contacted stating there were a few spots needing touch up he stated he would come by that day and didn't show up. He Then stated he would come by 9/11/2019 and also did not show up. On 9/12/2019 he showed up announced and we talked over my ring doorbell intercom. I messaged him in follow up that we would be home in 30 minutes and he never returned. 9/13/2019, he stated his wife's pregnancy was high risk and I understood and commiserated with my own pregnancies. On 9/16/2019, he apologized for the inconvenience. On multiple occasions, he was contacted to say that I hope he everything is ok and asking for an update. On 11/29/2019 he responded for the first time offering to come finish up and $100 toward a future job. I stated that at this point I do not want him in my home and want a refund of $100 of the $260 job he was paid in cash in full to do. *** continued to not reply over the course of months. This job is still incomplete without refund.
His wife offered me a refund when she was contacted after a few weeks of no contact. Out of concern, living in the same neighborhood, I wanted to make sure everyone was OK, having not heard from *** whatsoever. Out of the kindness of my heart I could not allow it.

In response to *** complaint,
We Southern Ridge Painting , On 9/8/2019 we received a down payment of $80 , Southern Ridge Painting painted her stairwell and Hall bathroom in which when the job was done we received $180 and agreed to go back to do the touch ups.
At the time my wife and I we're having complications with her pregnancy and that obligated me to take my wife to the appointments , I had to reschedule 9/10/2019 They weren't there , after that I went 3 times and which I let her know that I was going to be there, no one answered the door.

I have contact her several times, I have offered *** $100 coupon for any future jobs , We have offered to finish the job and she has denied service, We offered a refund and she denied it ( We have proof )
She has been very disrespectful , cursing at me and disrespecting me racially.
We have tried to resolve this issue and *** has been difficult to deal with.
We are open to finish the touch ups to finish this job .
At this point we will not refund her because she has been very unprofessional and disrespectful and all that is left is 5 to 10 min touch ups.

I own a ring doorbell and the above is lie. *** only showed up 1 time on 9/12/2019 unannounced and was talked with over the intercom, informing him that we would be home in 30 minutes. He never came back a single time after that. He made appointments to come, and which I have messaged showing he never showed up and asking if everything was OK, knowing what occurred.
*** has made allegations which are untrue and I have all evidence of attempted and completed conversations with both he and his wife. He had never once been disrespected racially. I have continued to contact *** with no response on most occasions.
The entire paint job is unacceptable and must be re-done due to the paint type used (eggshell). There is paint all over my bath tub, stairs, railing and baseboards. There are missed spots on every surface painted.
I demand a refund for the entire situation. Please advise where I can send all evidence.
No Refund will be given !
The job does not need to be completely redone, I have 12 years experience in this industry , We would be happy to finish the touch ups and clean any specs that easily come out if wiped off.
I have offer *** to allow us to finish the job and she has denied service.
