In response to Ms***'s complaint-
I would first like to say that we served over rooms during the time of her stay and we had no other complaints of our pool being coldOur maintenance manager was sent to room for an A/C that was not working and he was told by a guest in the room
that it was working fineThere was not a report of a bed being brokenUpon checking the room after I had spoken to Ms***, we had found neither bed to be broken and the A/C in working orderOur kitchen had been cleaned before Ms*** and her party ever entered the kitchenOn the day before the party checked in, several people from their group were here putting there things in the kitchen and were upset that they had to wait a few minutes to get in because we were showing the kitchen area to a possible lessorThe floor had just been mopped and I personally put up the wet floor signs in the kitchenHer party had been using the kitchen for almost hours before anything was said to us about the kitchen not being cleaned to there standardsI would also like to point out that Ms*** is a relation to a disgruntled employee who was also here during there gathering at our propertyMs***'s group still owes the hotel $for the convention space that her party used for their gathering and there will be no refund given.

I am rejecting this response because: this is obviously NOT a worm. THIS IS BED BUGS. There are several bug feces that were left behind and as shown BLACK MOLD in the shower.

Our maintenance staff thoroughly checked both rooms this guest stayed in. There were no bed bugs found in either room however we did find a small worm which the guest herself photographed and emailed to me. Also, we did not find any mold in either room. The guest photographed what she thought was...

mold and it is grout and caulking along the edge of the tiles in the bathroom. We have an older brick hotel, so there will always be dust but we continually clean all the rooms to remove as much as possible. Because no bed bugs were found in either room, there was no reason for this guest to throw away her belongings. At this time we will not be refunding this guest.

We have a signed contract for special rates for the [redacted] Family Reunion. They were as follows- Double queen rooms $129.00 King rooms $149.00. Mrs. [redacted] was given the rate that we agreed upon with the reunion host. We are sorry Mrs. [redacted] did not get the rate she thought she heard over the...

phone, however she was given the rate agreed upon for this event with the group host. There will be no refund given and Mrs. [redacted] was given a discounted rate due to only being charged $129.99 on a king room that should have been $149.00. When rates are agreed upon for events, we do not offer a discount like AARP or AAA because the is negotiated.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The business was notified that there was a problem by me personally They also told me they would fix the bill to reflect discounts for both nights and never did.  They were also notified the next day with a call from my daughter who made the reservations for us. along with follow up calls by my daughter several times a week. Sincerely,[redacted]
