To Whom It May Concern:
This incident began with [redacted] bringing in his recently purchased from [redacted] used Kenwood Radio manufactured in 1997 along with a used CD changer adapter from the same year.  [redacted] requested that we install his used 1997 equipment in...

a way not designed or intended by the manufacture.  His desire was to have his 2 used units work in conjunction with his currently installed radio again not purchased from our company again in a way not designed or intended by the manufacture.
After discussing the [redacted] to work as [redacted] desired due to manufacture design and intention of his used equipment together we drew out on paper to confirm his desired installation.  [redacted] stated that he personally researched and figured it would work as he desired and insisted that our company perform the installation as he desired.  We explained to [redacted] that due to the nature of his request we would perform the installation with the used equipment at a shop labor rate of $125 hour that would begin at the start of this installation and would not end until the installation was completed.  Our installation staff performed the installation using the installation part from manufacture company [redacted] part number 95-7801 required to hold [redacted] 2 used radios.  At this point again due to the nature of [redacted] requested installation not designed or intended by the manufacture [redacted] must assist his used 1997 radio's rotating face plate to move beyond a point of contact with the [redacted] part #95-7801 in order for it to rotate fully as intended.
[redacted] initial installation of is used 1997 radio and CD changer adaptor were connected to his modern radio as he requested and desired in 1.5 hours at a cost to him of $200.  At this time the needed assistance of [redacted] to have his rotating faceplate was discussed with [redacted] and explained that if he approved of the continued $125 per hour installation our installation staff would begin to "customize" the [redacted] #95-7801 beyond the manufactures design to Better accommodate his desired installation request.  [redacted] declined to have this customization performed.  With the assistance of [redacted] as shown to him by our installation staff the rotating faceplate of his used 1997 radio will indeed operate properly allowing the radio to accept & remove a CD from the unit.  This function is available as [redacted] own statement says "the volume......" which is only accessable once the faceplate has fully rotated.
[redacted] asked fro our assistance to get into the menu settings of used equipment to get it to operate as he desired.  Unfamiliar with the functionality of his 1997 equipment our company offered the assistance of our most veteran employee who would be the only possible employee to know the operation and controllability of this used equipment.  Due to the employee on vacation until Sunday this free offer could only be possible upon the employees return.  [redacted] and a unknown female returned to our location the following day (Sunday) stating that we needed to move a setting switch on his used CD changer adaptor in order for his desired functionality to work as he wished.  This was performed for free Saturday while [redacted] and the unknown female were here.  Again [redacted] desired operation did not work.  It was at this time [redacted] was told in order for our company to figure out how to make his desired operation work as he wanted we would indeed begin a new invoice at the rate of $125 per hour until [redacted] desired functionality was achieved.  [redacted] and the unknown female declined the option and stepped outside the front of our business and began to argue with each other to the point and volume heard inside.  Returning inside we explained to [redacted] that again he has 3 options/possibilities.
#1  He return the following day and see if our veteran employee can operate his 1997 product for free.
#2  Contact the outlet he purchased his used product from as potentially it is defective in part or completely.
#3  Pay our installation staff $125 per hour to figure out the controllability of his used product.
In closing [redacted] and the unknown female declined to return Sunday, they both additionally declined to contact the outlet they purchased the used equipment or manufacture.  Finally they declined our offer to begin a new invoice to figure out the controllability of [redacted] used product.
A mutual decision was made between our staff and [redacted] to remove the used product from the mounting in his Honda Accord for free so [redacted] himself could continue to pursue his desired controllability of his product to work as unintended by the manufactures design or intentions.
