Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The latest response is more of the same; unwilling to take responsibility for poor business decisionsIf maxxxcomputers knows that multiple customers were scammed by a person maxxxcomputers had a sales arrangement with, the proper customer service response would be to address the issue with some sort of compensation, not deny any responsibilityAnd telling the customer that they should have to spend MORE MONEY to resolve the issue is just more proof of poor customer serviceMaxxxcomputers should resolve the issue for customers and deal with the seller to recoup any lossesThis is how almost every retailer in America worksI have no way to contact the [redacted] seller that I am aware of nor should I have to Regards, [redacted]

The latest response is more of the same; unwilling to take responsibility for poor business decisions. If maxxxcomputers knows that multiple customers were scammed by a person maxxxcomputers had a sales arrangement with, the proper customer service response would be to address the issue with some sort of compensation, not deny any responsibility. And telling the customer that they should have to spend MORE MONEY to resolve the issue is just more proof of poor customer service. Maxxxcomputers should resolve the issue for customers and deal with the seller to recoup any losses. This is how almost every retailer in America works. I have no way to contact the [redacted] seller that I am aware of nor should I have to.

This will be my last response. We are not responsible for any alterations after the fact we are not responsible for software added to the computers after the fact the person who did those things is responsible which is the seller whom you bought from. If as you were claiming the fan came loose and your computer processor burned out, then yes we would be responsible for that and we would have to pay for that as if your hard drive went bad now or your graphics card went bad. We can't be responsible for something we didn't offer we did not offer software on those computers so we can't be responsible for them. For some reason you just simply won't understand that. It's no different if you went to a car dealership and bought a brand new car and the dealership installed an aftermarket alarm or aftermarket radio and that item caught your car on fire you can't go to the manufacturer of the car and complain at them you have to go to the dealership and complain at them and go after them for that this is the same situation no different.  You have made a claim on the Revdex.com stating you wanted $200 for a new operating system when I said I would happily show you where you can get it for $2 and in reality customers paying retail Ford would pay $100 so at this point there's nothing more I can do for you. If you would like the link to be able to purchase the window key for $2 I'll be more than happy to supply it for you other than that I am done with this dispute and this conversation. One, we're not even in business anymore. Too, it has nothing to do with me. Have a good day

Hello, Two things, and I was emailed a transcript of your conversation with the representatives of the company that you contacted as that is no longer us as I have closed a little over a month ago.  You did not purchase your computer from us. You purchased it from an [redacted] seller.  We...

sold to [redacted] sellers wholesale who in turn sold our hardware on [redacted].  computers we sell to those 3rd party vendors, the one in particular you purchased from was [redacted] username and store: [redacted] who's name is [redacted].  Computers we sell for wholesale do not come with an operating system from us, it is specifically and only hardware.  [redacted] sellers at their discretion install windows to the computers themselves.  We are not responsible for operating systems or software that is on computers bought from 3rd party retailers on [redacted].  If you would like, because we have had this issue with this particular seller installing bootleg windows onto computers, you can  contact [redacted] and they will confirm our standing as we are a different company from who you purchased from on [redacted].  My only recommendation is to contact the seller and [redacted] to rectify the situation.  Also if it helps you can now buy legit windows keys for 2.00 on [redacted].Even though we are no longer in business our responsibility still covers your warranty against components for 2-3 years depending on what was listed for the computer  you bought.  We do handle that.  But that is where our responsibility ends.
