Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
This business is rude, threatening, and unethicalI was working w several individuals, but yet no one returned my callsAfter speaking to the owner he would tell me to call back he needed to see what could be doneI would call and callI owed $600, which turned into about $1,I was going through a divorce, and trying to support my children.
I was told on several occasions my car would remain on the lot, doors locked, and going no whereI them received a lletter bc the car was left abandoned for over hoursWhen I contacted the owner, he was extremely rude, and told me it was not my problemI stayed it was since the car was in my name and my personal belongings were in the carI asked several times about my personal belongings bc I had irreplaceable items in the car.
I called on several occasions to plead that they not get rid of my belongingsIn those items I had several heirloom photo albums belonging to my motherMy mother died of cancer 1/years ago, and they cannot be replacedI told them I would deal w the repossession, but please don't throw away belongingsAfter another or so calls I receive a nasty call from JasonDue to the tone of this call, I chose to have my attorney inquire.
My attorney called and spoke to the owner who said he was not on charge of thisJason called, and told my attorney I was served a certified letter stating my items were goneI never received a letterletter, or proof it was ever sent.
I am not accepting this bc I have been treated beyond poorly, and after numerous calls, personal irreplaceable items were disgustedIf not settled here or some how returned, further action will be taken.

To whom it may concern,
This letter is in rebuttal to the complaint to the Revdex.com from [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] purchased a vehicle from us on April 11th 2014. Her biweekly payments were $136.89. This...

vehicle was repossessed on October 13th 2014 due to non-payment. At the time of repossession Ms. [redacted] was past due a total of $612.10. Many efforts were made to collect payment from Ms. [redacted] including multiple phone calls and mailings. The decision was made to repossess the vehicle due to the past due balance, an unpaid parking ticket out of Philadelphia, and not having insurance on the vehicle. An added factor was that not one payment was received on time since the date of purchase. A classic game of phone tag was pursued, before and after repossession, as Ms. [redacted] stated her phone was ‘broken'. At the time of repossession Ms. [redacted] retrieved all personal belongings from the vehicle. All that remained were empty liquor store bags, fast food bags, and garbage to name a few. As stated in the certified letter sent to Ms. [redacted] she had 30 days from the date of repossession to retrieve whatever personal belongings she felt were left in the vehicle. Also stated in this letter was that she had 15 days from date of repossession to satisfy the balance of the vehicle or it would be resold. Messages were received at the dealership usually during closed hours. Attempts to return calls were made but not successful. No visits to retrieve personal belongings, if any, were made by Mrs. [redacted]. Instead a phone call from her attorney was made requesting these ‘belongings' approximately 3 months after repossession.
At Moe P[redacted]'s Outten Used Car Center we strive to provide an excellent experience and excellent Service to our customers. I feel Ms. [redacted] was treated with the same amount of respect as we give all of our beloved customers. Although I regret that Ms. [redacted] feels she was treated unfairly, our actions were morally and ethically justifiable.
Sincerely,
Jasone D[redacted]

To whom it may concern,
This letter is in rebuttal to the second letter to the Revdex.com from [redacted]. I would respond to this letter in the same way as the first one. Moe P[redacted]'s Outten Used Car Center strives to provide customers with an excellent experience. A large amount of our business comes from return and referred customers. This wouldn't be the case if we did not try our hardest to meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
As stated in the last letter Ms. [redacted] did attempt to contact the dealership on multiple occasions but only during off business hours. She would leave messages to return her calls either with other people's phone numbers or numbers that could not be reached. We made every attempt in our power to contact her.
Ms. [redacted] was in fact past due a total of $612.10 at the time of repossession. Ms. [redacted] was given ample opportunity to make payment while still past due this amount. When no payment is received, payments continue to accumulate. As displayed in the copy of the certified letter sent, Ms. [redacted] received more time to retrieve her vehicle then the law deems necessary. We understand our customers go through hardships as do the rest of us. We try our best to work with customers to the best of our ability. Although remorseful of Ms. [redacted]s situation, we exhausted all we could by allowing late payments and not repossessing the vehicle sooner.
As asked to do so by the repossession agent Ms. [redacted] retrieved all personal belongings at the time of repossession. All that remained were empty liquor store bags, fast food bags, and garbage to name a few. As stated in the certified letter sent to Ms. [redacted] she had 30 days from the date of repossession to retrieve whatever personal belongings she felt were in the vehicle. Not one visit was made to retrieve any 'belongings' claimed to have been in this vehicle. We cannot return any items that were not in the vehicle to begin with.
Due to lack of regular and preventative maintenance on this vehicle we were forced to sell the vehicle at auction. A loss of $1686 was inquired as a result. This doesn't include any monies lost due to Ms. [redacted]s default in contract, or any repossession and administrative costs. We have not pursued going after Ms. [redacted] in court for lost money in this transaction because of her situation as a result of her divorce. However, being that it is our legal right to do so, we are strongly considering doing so as Ms. [redacted] intends to take further action.
Sincerely,
Jasone D[redacted]Moe P[redacted]
